Since the PS1 era, game prices have, largely, matched the rate of inflation. A brand new $39 PS1 game in 1997 would cost $63 today.

It is? How do you figure? This is one of quite literally millions of indie games that didn’t sell. Are you arguing it was the pricing model that caused it to not sell? Given how many people bought it, I’m guessing almost no one outside the developers were aware of the “marketing and distribution” strategy (read: commen

Not all games need to cost $60. Especially not this one. I’d even argue that the onus should be on the developers and publishers to come up with realistic budgets for their games if a $60 price point isn’t enough to cover it. I’ve had more fun with $15 games than I’ve had with many, many games that were launched at

We will never truly know the effect town had on that game.

What are you mad about? Do you want people to be as upset at Epic as Blizzard? Or are you just raising awareness of Fortnite’s Tencent connection? Like, be clear dude.

Still, it’s gone from my machine, and whatever Blizzard will show at Blizzcon had better be mighty impressive if they want me to spend another € on them.

I uninstalled overwatch, the only Blizzard game I own, yesterday. Granted, it’s fairly easy for me to do as I haven’t been playing the game much in a while, as it’s getting old, and I’m a bit sick of playing the game when, as a “normal” player, I don’t exist in the eyes of Blizzard, who seems to only care about

I was struggling with this as well. “Voting with my wallet” doesn’t do much when the last Blizzard product I bought was Overwatch at launch, but I can vote with my bandwidth, so to speak. If player population and lootbox sales are low for the Halloween event, maybe that will at least give them pause.

Yeah, let’s ignore how popular they were and pretend nobody every enjoyed one of them.

Huh, I didn’t even notice that Last of US had a multiplayer mode (or don’t remember noticing).

Why apologize? Because I don’t think we should be running uncensored screenshots of animations of young characters from popular fiction having sex. I’m not saying we should write about it or even in some fashion show people what it is we’re talking about, but how we presented it exceeded what many readers expected.

I

Noted, but I don’t have control of that. My focus was on addressing the readers. I’ll ask our tech people if that’s possible, but it’s not an option I’ve pursued. I tend to not think about advertisers when we run our posts.

AC is going to be huge. I have a sister that normally hates seeing people “waste” huge amounts of time on games, but when it comes to her obsession with anything AC, she caves and happily calls herself hypocritical. lmao

Linguistically, your correct.  Practically, I see nothing silly about it.  If you see the appeal (ie. a more portable, cheaper switch) it seems pretty logical.

It’s an unfair advantage gained by utilizing third party tools. Mouse and keyboard is inarguably more precise than a controller. Hence, cheating.

Heh, that’s such a politician/lawful evil answer. “It’s not specifically written as a rule, so I’m gonna do it!” But whatever helps you sleep at night.

Personally, I wish everyone had it setup so that there are controller only “lobbies” and kb/m + controller “lobbies” and if you’re in controller only but a mouse or keyboard registers as being used, you’re kicked out.

I don’t think there’s anything wrong with someone using keyboard and mouse in a FPS on console, but

Cool so does Overwatch support KBM controls on console?

Why? I mean, if you’re playing at a desk why not just use a PC? The only Switch games it makes sense to play docked are exclusives, and those are designed for non M&K play. It probably seems like a huge advantage, but for most multiplayer games it’s not a significant one. At least in games where mobility contributes
