I always did enjoy Q’s ability to get under Picard’s skin. He’s one of the few things that could make the captain lose his cool.
It’s the travel within the US that’s tough to boycott. If you’re leaving the country there are plenty of airlines you can choose that treat their passengers with respect, even in cattle class.
You do have a point, however I also think these situations could be handled much more tactfully by the airlines.
You know, sometimes the plot just won’t advance itself.
1. I haven’t had my coffee yet.
Apparently they have two of them!
On a ship it’s not called jail. It’s the brig.
You will blow the trans, it’s just a question of when.
Because I think this is one instance where people would be cross shopping with an Accord or Camry
For some of us that’s not really an option. This is a large country with no other viable long-distance transportation options. When traveling long distances your choice is either to fly, pay an equal cost to a flight to sit on a train for days, or drive for days.
I dig.
Oh believe me, we’re on the same page. I just cringe when I see those big US-spec bumpers. If I had a car that had them I’d swap them for Euro spec in a heartbeat. And the headlights too, if it was a car that didn’t have pop-ups.
Nice car...
NOBODY calls me yella.
Let me ask you this, are YOU currently paying for anyone’s health insurance outside your family?
Not sure if trolling.
Again...why is that the state’s responsibility?
Somebody has to, or else people die. You can preach self-sufficiency all you want but it’s a 100% certainty that not everyone in this country will ever have the means to pay for all of their own healthcare. Should they die because of that? We’ve already decided that we’re (in theory) not going to let people die if…
Sometimes these things happen unplanned, you know.
