The media needs to open any occasion The Donald addresses them with “Have you figured out what’s up with Obama’s birth certificate yet?” until he dies of a stroke.

Well according to the WSJ calling the president elect a liar or labeling his statements lies is media bias :/

Army coups don’t regularly end in free and fair elections.

But that might not be a lie. Maybe an extremely credible source ‘to him’ did call his office to tell him that.

Somehow in his 70 years of being alive he hasn’t had many large-scale consequences for his actions? I mean he’s got two ex-wives and some bankruptcies but those all just seemed to be things he could coast past.

I’d just like to point out they hacked the RNC too.

It’s also a false equivalencey for him to use the Iraq WMD story as some sort of proof that the CIA is wrong about Russia. The actual CIA intelligence that they had regarding WMD in Iraq was ignored and twisted by the Bush administration to make their case, like the time Cheney leaked a story about aluminum tubes that

The “intel state” did no such thing. It’s been pretty abundantly covered that the Bush Administration went to Iraq because they wanted to and cherrypicked intelligence to make it look like it was an informed national-defense decision instead of a grudge.

First guideline of figuring out which story is more credible: cui bono?

Now playing

We’re talking about a man that you can literally watch lie on video by showing him say two different things on the same topic and his moronic supporters still say he doesn’t lie.

Um...if I was American HumInt in Russia or Eastern Europe, I would be desperately trying to get my spies and informants into the US or Western Europe because it’s 50-50 at best that Trump doesn’t expose operatives and sources unintentionally or otherwise.

Discarding? He doesn’t even get that far. He simply doesn’t take the briefings in the first place.

This is the beauty of Donald’s lies though - *HE* didn’t lie. The “credible source” did. Teflon Don.

Additionally, it was 17 different intelligence agencies, not just the CIA.

Hear, hear. This whole simpleton way of looking at the news with false equivalence proves what passes for news nowadays is just “news”--bullshit spin filling the airwaves.

My guess would be “not thrilled,” but since they have the word “intelligence” somewhere in their title or agency, they’re for sure on his enemies list anyway. Donald doesn’t go in for any fancy knowledge that goes against his guts. Of course, his guts, like everyone’s, are full of shit.

I wonder how all these clandestine field agents collecting human intelligence in real time feel about Donald Trump discarding their work.

Whenever anyone wants to play this “maybe Donald isn’t lying” card it’s fairly easy to find an example of him lying. For example:

One thing’s for sure, the Russian hacking story is a big mess that has thus far boiled down to either believing the CIA (which lies) or believing Trump (who lies).

This kind of political suppression of science is very dangerous. In the past, when governments have decided which scientific theories are true based on political dogma (even despite being contrary to the evidence), millions have died.
