The measurements at Mauna Loa are adjusted to account for outgassing from the volcano which hasn’t erupted on over 30 years. Regardless, the trend is clearly up.

Sea level increase is accelerating and coastal cities are already facing serious problems because of it. I live in Miami and they are having to raise street levels and install pumps because they regularly flood now. The beaches are eroding to nothing. It didn’t used to be like this.

Waste heat from energy production is a spit in the ocean. It has no effect on global temperatures. What’s causing the increase is a build up of heat trapping gasses and a decrease in albedo.
