Fear not, “Despacito”, you will live on for at least another 20 years as part of a “party mix” played on cruise ships filled with sunburned white people chugging daiquiris and gorging on all you-can-eat fettuccine alfredo.

I’m still on the fence with how I feel about the Dougie storyline. On the one hand it makes a little bit more sense now seeing as Cooper seems to have come through his experience in the Black Lodge with no ill effects (something else that surprised me slightly). He obviously is pretty well tapped in to this whole

The thing about Jerry’s role, even in last night’s episode, is that it’s completely superfluous. You could take him out of last nights episode and nothing would be lost. I guess it’s supposed to be funny? It was funny the first time. Less and less every other time.

I cannot wait until next week...

I’ll give this one shot - Kinja is hell. Anyway, my many-crossposted comments -

: -) ALL.

Happy to star, you pretty much covered all the big points about this ep. Well done.(Also, man, fuck Kinja.)

When the music started to swell as Cooper said he was the FBI, I was pretty much delirious with happiness.

When Audrey walked into the Roadhouse, I yelled at my TV “Eat that, Internet! It’s not a coma!”

BRAN: Dames, who needs ‘em? But you and me, pal, we get each other. Just two bros, hangin’ out, shootin’ the shit, doin’ man stuff. Like, um... um... scratchin’ our balls and... sports? And? ...er... my omniscience power is leaving me hanging here...

“You stand accused of murder. You stand accused of treason. How do you answer these charges ... Lord Baelish?”

Eat it, Littlefinger!

“Oh hey guy I met briefly years ago. I’m gonna tell you Jon’s parentage, but I’m not going to tell my sisters, for no reason.”

The attack on transgendered people in the military is completely overshadowing Ben Carson’s attacks on the LGBT community via HUD.

St. Peter -”So, did Spielberg really direct Poltergeist or what?”

One of the theaters was showing classic films on the big screen and it was fun to see movies in the theater again like “Shadow Of A Doubt” “The Godfather” or “The French Connection” but honestly “Gone With The Wind” was just terrible. Overly mannered, big hammy performances with an excruciating plot—it doesn’t hold up

AV Club getting added onto the header with Jezebal, Deadspin, etc., may bring some new people to these comment sections. Let’s all just keep in mind, we’re not trapped in here with Gawker, Gawker is trapped in here with us.

It really needs to be treated like A Birth of a Nation - lots of “this is a historically important film but here a BUNCH of caveats we want to emphasise before we show it”

Not even including the distracting-to-concerning racial and societal implications of the movie, I never liked Gone With The Wind. Three hours to get to “Tomorrow is Another Day!”? That’s it? No thank you.

I agree. I don’t think Gone With the Wind should be banished forever into obscurity, but I think we need to be more aware of how the popularity of that movie helped shape generations of people’s vision of what the Old South was like and why that’s dangerous.
