Was hoping to see more of a discussion than four comments, i thought this one was a sharply written, well-crafted hoot and Daniel Craig as hardboiled-egg loving Joe Bang is a standout. Wish we had a spoiler space for this one

Yeah for real, I like Cersei WAY more than little finger because she’s a better schemer and more fun to watch but people who like little finger just HATE her
Yeah no shit. Ive kind of hated Jim since I started watching the office. He’s the exact entitled, pseudo-sensitive bro dude that they wanted Roy to be except Roy is poor and boorish. I could never stand his smug face.
Jerry’s whole “just being high and scared of things” shtick has been wearing thin since it started but besides that I loved this one. I definitely get why Sherylinn Fenn became frustrated at her role in this vs her prominence in the original series but this is the first time her arc has worked really well I think.…
This sounds like something Tim Burton would pass on because it’s too self consciously twee for him
This seems like a good idea. I’ve always been a little skeeved out by how beloved this Confederate apologia has been in film culture (especially just considering that as a movie it’s kind of a bloated, dull melodrama).
Well clearly everyone’s grandparents. I’ve also met young people who like NCIS, literally all of them were in the military and didn’t really have any taste
No mention of Bruce Leroy?
No that part I totally buy. I mean that they’re supposed to be immediately falling for each other with this really strained writing, it’s like bad fanfiction made it to the screen. The political marriage of convenience would have actually made a ton of sense.
I guess it just depends on what you’re looking for. Superheroes are inherently archetypal and kind of superficial wish fulfillment aspirational fantasy objects so I think he’s right in saying Wonder Woman isn’t a challenging or nuanced character but he’s wrong in expecting that. Of course Sarah Conner being flawed…
I’m not so much bothered by the whole Daenyrys and Jon being related thing as I am by it being such a perfunctory, obvious plot development that hasn’t come from anything organic at all
Can’t tell if I’m in the grays or not but I think this worked this time?
That's a pretty cool response from SPD. Their history of systemic violence against minorites (and anyone trying to film them) is somewhat less cool so let's not be too impressed.
Huh, the irony of an actor in a show that's largely thematically about cycles of abuse and violence against women is definitely not lost on me.
So I just started here, hope I can still bet. Out of 100=
well now I'm gay for moleman
Well this is pretty disappointing, that trailer made it look hilarious and I've liked Brett Gelman's work. Oh well, not that surprising I guess.
After this most recent episode your point has pretty much gone from subtext to text so good call
Man I love how this movie is maybe the most homophobic and homoerotic movie I've ever seen, all at once, just a big sweaty kettle of masculine denial.
I like that interpretation so much more, like I said I'm hoping my idea isn't the case because it'd be such a blandly prosaic answer
