The images are a little deceiving, like the text “loaded with dust and debris between solar systems.” In reality, the interstellar medium is thousands of times more empty than the strongest vacuum we can create on earth: 5 atoms per CC, on average.

Google can solve every technical problem under the sun except how to discriminate between propaganda and news. I should think a Bayesian filtering algorithm similar to that used for spam would work great. WTF, Google?
“A story told by an idiot, full of sound and fury, signifying nothing.”
You sure about that Van Allen belt thing? I’ve never heard that before.
What a super good idea!
Iodine-131. People in Ukraine had to take potassium iodide after Chernobyl to keep their thyroid glands from taking up radioactive iodine-131. So stock up.
And yet parchment lasted a thousand years...
Insert “Kim Jong Long Dong Mark II” Engrish funny joke here...
Carbon dating is more accurate than plus minus 100 million years, brah.
Well, they shouldn’t. History matters. Knowing shit matters. All the people who knew and cared about skeleton X are themselves long dead. Enough already. We’re now terrified about hurting the feelings of dead people.
Please cite some of this evidence that the masses believed the earth was flat.
Yes the masses. There’s plenty of documentation of believe in the globe all through the middle ages. Not until the 19th century has any civilization believed the earth was flat.
Meh. He’s part of the globalist conspiracy. Science is dogma, force fed to us as schoolchildren. You gotta “do your own research” bro (i.e. watch YouTube videos), not swallow their lies.
Actually, Columbus’ discussions with Ferdinand and Isabella were recorded. It’s not a guess what he thought or presented to others.
Turns out the Columbus/flat earth story comes from a bio of Columbus for children written by Washington Irving in the 1890s. True story.
Columbus’ problem was that he used a different calculation for the circumference of the earth. Most people believed Ptolemy’s Almagest, that the earth was 25,000 miles around, but Columbus’ calculation said 13,000.
Flat earthers will tell you that “perspective” is why you can’t see too far away — because it “all blurs into the horizon.” This is what happens to the setting sun — it’s all actually visible, if only you could get enough magnification, which you can’t because there’s “too much air in the way to see that far.” I shit…
No — telescopes can’t see that far away because “too much atmosphere prevents seeing that far.” I’m not joking. That’s why the Southern Cross is not visible from Sydney — too much atmosphere. Go ahead, disprove me.
They claim that this is why the Russians stopped drilling what was at the time the deepest borehole on earth — because they got to the other side. That’s why nobody can ever go look at the borehole and why it’s guarded to this day.
The military guards the edge and prevents photography of it. This is the actual expressed explanation. The south pole station is fake, pictures of it are fake, nobody is ever allowed to visit Antarctica. Really.
