I went back and played this for a bit a year or two ago and the camera controls were incredibly frustrating from a modern perspective. Having nintendo fix this and upgrade the graphics would be amazing.

I really loved the Astrosniks.  Not sure why looking back as an adult, but as a kid I was obsessed.

Yes, but then how is kinja going to get those sweet, sweet referral dollars?

This guy is definitely is into furries.

I can accept the fact that I have had bad luck, but having the bag delivered by the next day is a huge inconvenience for me with business travel. Wearing sneakers and jeans to a meeting is not the way to make a good impression. So for me unless I am traveling for more than a week, all my stuff is on carry-on luggage.

While I don’t doubt this is the reported statistic, I wonder about their criteria about damaged, delayed etc. My personal track record with luggage being, and I supposed delayed is the correct term, is pretty high with two separate incidents in maybe a total of 10 flights where I checked luggage as an adult. Both

So the problem with this logic is that there is not enough space in the overheads to accommodate a single briefcase, purse, messenger bag, or backpack from every passenger let alone carry-on luggage. So we have already established that any given ticket is not entitled to overhead space and thus it is a limited

Generally once the plane has landed the crew asks you to close the shade in the summer and keep the shade up in the winter to help heat\cool the plane.  Once the plane has landed, nobody should really care about the view and therefore put the shade in what will be most comfortable for the disembarking passengers and

Where is West of Loathing??? $11 bucks for a great western-flavored RPG with a ton of things to explore and do. It is also one of the funniest games I have ever played.

Yeah. I definitely think “mom tacos” is sub-category on NSFW web sites.

If the argument is about the tipping system in general, I would agree tipping is bullshit and a way for restaurants to advertise lower prices by shifting a partial cost of labor onto the customer. But it is the system we have in the US and most people take that into account when dining out.

Much of the discussion around “foodie calls” frames this as cheating, as subterfuge, as diabolically underhanded. But it’s a practice as old as the dawn of time: sitting through something relatively boring because there’s free food involved. It’s how offices get you to attend meetings, how time-share companies get

This seems like a dick move. Likely the healthcare deduction does not represent what the employee would have paid out of pocket for healthcare. The waitstaff is definitely not setting the policy although they do benefit from it. If you received good service and then take a fee out of the employees pocket you are

I think you are right on both counts. Beverly tastes like armpit and the Varsity is overrated. I was not born in Georgia, but I have lived here since I was about 10 years old. I have never understood how the Varsity has stayed in business. It isn’t terrible, but it is just mediocre fast food and I am not quite sure

I really like Gigabyte’s Aero15 series. They have current gen nvidia cards, are relatively slim and light, and have a solid\professional look, unlike a lot of gaming laptops. Another bonus is they actually have a numberpad on the keyboard, which almost no 13-in laptops have and very few 15-inch laptops have.

Outrage gets more pageviews than the truth apparently.

Large binder clips. They’re cheap to free if you can “borrow” them from work and fill all of the job requirements.

So “sticking it” to tourists is not really a great policy either. There is a boiling point to this stuff. If a city becomes too expensive, conventions will find a new home. And then your city has an obligation and even less sources of revenue to fulfill that obligation.

Atlanta has\had a few of those speakeasy types of establishments. The one I am specifically thinking of was called prohibition and you entered through a fake phone booth. It is a cool enough experience if you’ve never been to a speakeasy, but once you know the trick, there is little reason to put up with the hassle of

Maybe it is an age thing, but I don’t need or want a gimmick to my bar. A good selection of bourbons, a good bartender if I want a cocktail, and not too crowded, so I can grab a seat.
