Ah shit, I was confusing her with Willa Brown.

Bessie Coleman grew up in Terre Haute, Indiana and graduated with a BA at Indiana State Teacher’s College (now Indiana State University). She deserves a lot more recognition in this town, but then we just got a memorial to a man lynched in 1901 in 2021, so I’m guessing it won’t happen for a while.
Not really surprising Tesla treats its customers like shit considering how it’s reported to treat its employees.
Ok, since you’ve decided to make personal attacks, I think we’re done here.
I doubt Baskett’s family would agree.
Trump still has a chance to get on Twitter and demand Fuentes get reinstated. Come on, Donny. Do it. DO IT!
No, I mean the historical significance of the first black man to win an Oscar, not the film itself. That is a very significant thing in my opinion and, as I said, it’s a shame it’s in a film which is racist.
It’s more about the historical significance.
You don’t think it was a great performance? I thought he took a character that was meant to be a walking, talking stereotype and gave him warmth and depth and empathy. I thought he absolutely deserved that Oscar.
Sincere apologies and attempts at rectification go a long way. I think they still haven’t done the apology part, but at least they’re changing the ride.

Ren and Stimpy went on for four more seasons without Kricfalusi, so I’d say it did work out.
It was also always too mean and ugly for me. I know a lot of people love it, but I gave it a try for a good while, even went back to it when Danny DeVito joined the cast, and it had funny moments, but the characters just repulsed me too much. I did watch the Night Man episode and I admit that was very funny.
How dare you!
I have a friend from high school who transitioned and is still married to her wife, so it sounds like you and her have a pretty good deal!
I remember a similar scenario a while back when it looked like Dan Castellanetta would quit doing Simpsons voices. As if there’s no one else out there that can do Homer and Krusty.
You know, I really don’t regret giving up on that show. It just got meaner and meaner and at some point, why do I want to watch a show about people with no redeeming qualities?
Just curious- if, as a man, I decide to take birth control pills, will I become a lesbian? Because I think I might do better in life if I was a butch lady. It’s at least worth a try!
Wow. That tweet makes it sound like they were doing everyone a favor.
Well yeah, I realize that, but it started with him tweeting that he would buy Twitter and that’s what led him there, isn’t it? Or am I misremembering?
