Netflix is also hemorrhaging money, so I don’t know that this is necessarily a good thing. They might end up killing Millarworld if it goes belly-up.

I’m not bad. I’m nice. :(

It’s not a misogyny angle, it’s an academia angle. My professor father got so pissy if he was addressed as “Mr.” and not “Dr.” or “Prof.” in a letter. To be fair to him, getting a doctorate involves working your ass off for years.

Isn’t everyone in the Star Wars galaxy an extraterrestrial including Leia?

And one of the Jedi council used to be a hit man with a penchant for cheeseburgers.

For a long time ago in a galaxy far, far away, they sure do a lot of stuff the Earth way...

I wonder if it really would have a bigger carbon footprint than charging it with power from a coal-based electric plant. It works with twigs, not even full branches

I don’t go to the woods at all. That was my point.

I have absolutely no use for this thing, but I have wanted it ever since I first saw it. I don’t know why. I don’t go camping, I don’t go hiking. I just love the idea of burning twigs to charge my phone.

I heard he used a RISC processor to do it. RISC is cool.

It would have liked to have seen Montana’s rocks.

Now playing

It’s hilariously awful but I still love it.

Fun fact, that actor on the left was also the lead of The Good Ol’ Boys in The Blue Brothers... the ‘You’re gonna have trouble eatin’ corn on the cob with no fuckin’ teeth’ guy. That somehow makes his TOS appearance even better to me.

I genuinely felt that way once upon a time. I am ashamed now.

At least the gangster and Nazi planets had an explanation behind them- interference from the Federation caused both.

Thank you! I’ve been wondering that for months now.

The point is to gauge how to treat an individual’s pain. You can’t treat all pain the same for all people and you don’t need to. If one person’s 4 is another person’s 8, you don’t need to be as drastic with the 4 even if it’s the same condition.

Or weed. Works wonders for mine anyway...

But how else do you get a patient to explain to you what sort of pain he or she is in? It’s going to have to be a subjective assessment based on the nature of people’s reactions to pain.

I’ve only been an observer, but I’d say giving birth is like being kicked in the balls repeatedly for hours and at the very end having your scrotum torn open. Do not google episiotomy. You have been warned.
