And even then, it took Amanda to bring it up that they were Spock’s parents, which both Spock and Sarek found illogical.
Kirk isn’t all that hot on Vulcan girls. Just ask T’Pring.
Or... Spock just never felt it relevant to mention her, just like he never felt it relevant to mention that Sarek was his father. It was Amanda who brought it up. Both Spock and Sarek thought it was illogical of her.
Naming conventions can’t change over the centuries?
Really? I wasn’t aware he was involved. That makes me even more excited for this. Unlike a lot of people here, apparently, I want a successful Star Trek TV show so I’m not going to expect the worst.
I’m starting to miss the days when sci-fi and fantasy weren’t mainstream...
Could I make a request that you let us know whether or not the animated videos you put up are kid-safe? I love to show my daughter unusual animation, but so much of it is not appropriate for a child.
Much like I said to lewis26 above about Rothko, Pollock is an example a lot of people go to for “this isn’t really art,” but it is a bad example, because you cannot really get an appreciation for what Rothko did with paint from a 2-dimensional photographic reproduction which has been massively scaled down. What Rothko…
I’m not going to go into a big lecture on why you are not understanding the point of what Rothko did, all I am going to say is that what he actually did with paint is something no photograph I have ever seen could reproduce accurately.
When nerds go rogue!
What other options are there for a poor black farmer without higher education in a rural region?
To be fair, that’s sort of a defining trait of Peter Parker... His second Superhero name is Captain Exposition.
Wow. I had no idea. That looks like first year animation school.
There is way too much we don’t know. Most of what happened, especially before the attack started, we can’t know. It had to come out from things like what was overheard on cell phone calls and the black box recordings.
How many old folk do you know named Mackenzie?
It happened to me. A guy used to park his truck in front of my house every single day and played the same fucking song over and over for over two hours. Every day. This was California so it wasn’t just in the summer.
You’ve obviously never had an ice cream truck park right in front of your house blaring the same song for 2 or more hours every single goddamn day. I sympathize with the lady.
But, of course, it’s almost entirely speculative. That was my problem with it (I admit I haven’t seen it)... it wasn’t the real story of Flight 93 by any means and I didn’t want to see an imaginary narrative based on a tragedy I essentially watched unfold in real time.
Just reading the above, I just can’t see a way they won’t mess with Tchaikovsky.
