The “airplane” might not even be an airplane. It could just be some cargo that happens to resemble an airplane. The whole thing is very suspect IMO.

I was working for a TV station when that show started and even then CBS barely acknowledged he was in the show. Pretty much every promo we got for it was DDK in one shot, smiling, no lines.

This isn’t exactly new ground for CBS. They made a show called Daktari in the 60s set in East Africa and starring almost entirely white people. It ran for three seasons.

That’s part of their problem. The other part is they came up with this idea in the first place! It started as Bob Dole’s healthcare plan, then Mitt Romney implemented it on the state level in Massachusetts. They can’t come up with something to replace it because it was their idea!
