I saw Behavioral Event Interview open for Neutral Milk Hotel in 1997. Great show.

The best part of using mayo for grilled cheese is that even straight out of the fridge, it spreads thinly and evenly on even the weakest of breads. If the butter isn’t sitting out at room temp and you want a grilled cheese and have an aversion to mayo, you ain’t eating grilled cheese.

If your smoothie has grit in it, is it really a smoothie any more? Wouldn’t it be a grittie?

I messed up my hand pretty bad a couple of months ago. Thankfully no surgery but I needed a cast, several types of braces, and physical therapy. One of the braces is a finger splint with a spring. $15.99 on amazon. $88 billed and $50 charged to me after the insurance discount because I haven’t met my deductible yet.

I love ceramic but somehow they always break on me.

You can ruin knives with these. Especially cheaper ones with softer blade alloys. I’ve seen it happen over and over and over.

A French exit is just an Irish goodbye, while running away and waving a white flag.

I’m an outgoing social introvert. I like being out, but I still find certain things INCREDIBLY awkward. Long, drawn out good byes with multiple people are one of them. My friends know this, and everyone fully expects me to Irish Goodbye. Its fine. Im shocked at the amount of people in the comments who would NEVER do

Heres what normal/average people do:

Yup. I appreciate the etiquette-based defense laid out above, but practically speaking this is a survival tactic so you don’t have to bid goodbye to all seven aunt Marys plus the four aunt Kathys and between 20-40 cousins*. You’d have to start saying goodbye as soon as you arrived to make it through all of them. And

*whispers* I use my AccuSharp on my bread knife
*backs away slowly*

Me too. For my little pairing knife and cheap chef’s knife, I simply do not have the time to take it to a pro.

I’d use one of those on my cheapass everyday knives, sure. What happens if I ruin one? I’m out a few bucks for a new knife in the same cheapass everyday “I don’t make Frasier Crane’s money” price range.

I’d add one more thing: if your dog has serious issues and the first trainer doesn’t help you enough, try finding one with experience with extremely difficult behavioral problems before you re-home.

We have 3 different brands at home: Yeti, Rtic and no name that we all got from vendors. The cups themselves are all comparable but lid on the Yeti is far superior my nose touches the air hole on the others and blocks the flow. Not a $35 value difference by any means

When you find a dish that holds a six-cup package, or better yet, a half-gallon, get back to me.

FYI, I did a scientific at-home ice water test of 30 oz. double-walled stainless tumblers and found no significant difference between the YETI, RTIC or even the $5 one you can buy at Five Below. Other YouTubers have demonstrated similar results.

Semi-melted ice cream is the best though.
