I miss the old cellphone shelf. The new one is too damn small to be useful. And yes many Toyota suffer the glare making them useless feature. It’s like the screen was a total afterthought for anything.

This is what blows my mind about Audi putting dual angled touchscreens in some of their newer models, glare and fingerprints errrrwhere.

Having a MT in my 2017 Audi, I have to stick it in neutral and take my foot the clutch before the auto shut off is enabled. Which actually works really well at preventing unwanted shut downs, since for traffic lights and other brief stops I almost always leave my foot on the clutch anyway. Another good reason to avoid…

F1 and Mercedes are hedging their bets in not calling Piquet out by name, just in case it was a case of “lost in translation”, as the original comment was in Portugese. I wouldn’t give him that latitude.
