You think 70,000 people all trying to move within a few hours would go well?

Once again, zero fucking sympathy for these people.

Now playing

Police and Fire departments ordered them to flee their cars.

easy to say, you are not sitting in a mile of unmoving traffic with cars already on the shoulder with a fire getting closer in your rearview mirror every minute.

but we can’t see or quantify any actual damage from climate change”

When the punishment is a fine, it’s no more than a fee for doing business.  Only jail speaks.

So, they know what they’re getting into, but nobody knows how they’ll handle it until they do it for a while. I worked in a warehouse once, the pay was good, so I stuck it out. Turned out the wear on by body and my mind was intolerable. Nothing but glad that I quit.

your not removing the engine from the car, you are removing the car from the engine!

3.5 hours of that is draining the blinker fluid.

The i8 is put together in a way that strongly discourages anyone from any DIY. BMW assumed that the people buying these were not going to turn wrenches themselves.

PA charges $11 each for these stickers (call it a “stamp tax” if you want) plus you have to do safety and emissions inspections yearly at a combined cost of around $100. Most surrounding states only require the emissions test (the most expensive piece) every 2 years. Too many cars already look like they shouldn’t have

its styling is a bit wonky and i think it didnt really differ enough from a prius for people to forgo just getting a prius. I dont think it really got much advertising time either. The fusion energi competed with it a little as well. I feel like ive always seen more of those vs the cmax

Don’t give Elon any more temptations!

one Cybertruck owner discovered the truck’s rear air deflectors apparently creates perfect conditions for grass to grow.
