Nah, only the states that don’t follow federal law.

Whatever faults that old Chrysler 200 had, poor styling was not one of them.

So where do we draw the line on that? If the manufacturer of the car provides a document that says the car has forged piston rods, should I disassemble the engine to check? Of course not.

Think of it like Tesla removing a stereo from a car after they sold it, because they didn’t mean to sell the stereo with the car.

Wow yeah the new grille is a hideous child of straight and curved lines. The OP is nuts saying that the 200 was ugly. It was perfectly proportioned and there wasn’t an ungraceful line on that car. So said everyone when it launched, and sorry revisionist Jalopnik, you can’t just say it and change history. We’ve already

Right, because a typical pre-purchase inspection includes confirming that features listed on the original window sticker haven’t been remotely removed from the car by the manufacturer, and any used car buyer who fails to have one of these mythical pre-existing feature inspections performed deserves what they get.

Exactly this.

I just wanna get in ahead of the shitposting:

I despise, as much as the next guy, those assholes who drive around with their light bars on all the time, blinding everyone. Those people suck.

Having said that, a light bar (or any auxiliary light) can be a fantastic tool on a dark, unlit road at night when used properly

I was going to mention that he had forgotten the hashtag #blessed

I know a 72-year-old who says he’s gotta stay busy. It sounds sad, sure, but he’d go on to say he feels useless and worthless if he just sits around, getting nothing done. He WANTS to be busy. He doesn’t do it for money, though he does collect a paycheck. He does it for fulfillment.

Bradley you just don’t get it. You seem to think that doing something you enjoy - which is also productive employment - is for some reason horrible. It’s not. Maybe for you it is...I get that. For others it is not.

Being happy isn’t normal. Good point.

^^^ This needs more stars.

That is so very sad.

Compare this to my GTI, which has a (disconnected) system to simulate louder engine noise for me, but no one outside would hear any difference.

And nowadays most car ads tout nonsense ‘MPGe’ numbers or the ‘command seating’ and view from the throne of yet another anonymous SUV/crossover.

You’re going to be waiting a long time.

I have no problem with this. You seem to have an irrational hatred of these tail lights, much like my wife has an irrational hatred of Clare Daines.

I looked at this picture for that barrent expanse you speak of:

This dash really bothers you that much? I actually think its tasteful, will age well, and looks great.

i do the same thing. Sore back, or just need to relax, seat heaters are great. At 72* I don’t keep them on long. In my jeep, I’ll run seat heaters if the roof is off until almost 80*
