No way...
No way...
What do I need to get over, exactly? I’m happy with the changes!
Seriously? It’s pretty simple... (And you’re an “educator?”)
Trade =/= Globalism
I know you’re speaking hypothetically (thankfully!), but you need to know that you (and anyone else) can ALREADY do this! You do not need VR or anything like that to talk to an absent friend or loved one. Simply start a conversation with them in your mind. Simply pause for a moment and say “Hello, ___...” You’ll hear t…
Right, because that was the preferred stance of the progressives & globalists who commissioned the design... They didn’t want anything that was contemporary or seemed too “American,” because they didn’t want it to be perceived as imperialistic and oppressive, which is how they also viewed the country as a whole.
Whom’s “whole point?” The progressives who think our flag is shit and represents some sort of tyranny?
The current AF1, while good-looking in general, doesn’t really match anything “American”. It’s a better match for the Argentinian flag than our own, for instance.
I feel like your whole response needs a “yet” added to the end of each paragraph.
I would also agree with your conclusion to opt for the Rubi at that point, though I would prefer an ELSD over a pure E-locker in the rear (e-lockers are cool for the front).
That’s great to hear! It seems we are more like-minded than not.
How much of a handout do you get for buying a manual, again?
We can work on making everything better - that’s what I do for a living, actually - but we only have so many resources and so much time. We need to focus on fixing the issues that have the biggest impacts first, and AVs/traffic-related issues aren’t them...
Pull your head out of the sand and stop being so obtuse.
28% sounds like a decent amount, right? But that’s 28% of traffic deaths only. There were only 37,461 traffic-related deaths in 2016. There were essentially the same number of deaths (10,428) from being unbelted - something AVs won’t/don’t care about fixing, BTW...
So punish the people who do that and be done with it. We could have ignition interlocks in every vehicle right now if we wanted to and then that excuse goes away.
Machines do “get drunk” in their own way.
Tesla, Google, et. al., also only operate in the best of conditions. They aren’t going out into rural areas on shitty roads with poor visibility in poor weather conditions.
Yes! Exactly!
A mechanical LSD is preferable to an electric-locking diff in just about EVERY real-world application. It works ALL the time, the e-lockers can fail more easily, can cause unnecessary wheel-spin, and are almost always restricted to low-speed use. LSD are, by far, better suited for daily-drivers than any locker is. Any …
