D.C. is not a state... So, it’s actually 22.
WSJ has it right. Cali + 22 States + D.C. A total of 23 states and one goofy city.

You’re missing the forest for the trees... Tesla’s sensors and systems are NOT more robust than anyone elses. Tesla is just more willing to experiment on you and the rest of the public... Your car is NOT as capable/safe as you think it is.
I know Fox makes these adjustable for the aftermarket kits, but these Ford kits are FIXED. Read the press release! They are tuned by Ford and LOCKED.
Also, yes, that is a “puck” at the top. It just happens to have a spring perch machined into it. Without that bit, the strut wouldn’t be long enough. All a puck does is…
And what do those coil-overs add, exactly? There’s no more travel... Yes, the fox might be a bit better if you do lots of off-road at high-speed because they are designed to handle the heat, but otherwise, this is standard suspension with a puck kit installed. They even show the puck in the photos!!!
You’re kidding yourself...
You’re kidding yourself...
Braking during turning only sharpens the turn if you are turning so sharp you are already understeering. And hard braking while turning tends to induce oversteer, which is more dangerous (and harder to recover from) than understeer. It can also induce a roll-over in certain vehicles. You want to brake in a straight…
Talk to me again when GM’s quality and product throughput increase...
Also, UAW wants both wage increases and healthcare cost reductions. It ain’t gonna happen. You might get one, you won’t get both. UAW workers are already over-paid and have some of the best benefits in the country.
GM hasn’t hurt FCA and Ford here; they’ve helped them. They’re standing their ground.
Taking your foot off the pedals and your eyes off the road and hands off the wheel are NOT, in anyway, the same.
In fact, in many emergency situations, you don’t want to touch the pedals. In a rapid lane-change for instance, stomping on the brakes would hurt your vehicle’s performance and could cause a roll-over.…
No.
Numerous manufacturers of vehicles test on the roads all the time. They call these vehicles “mules”; They are all over. They are testing and learning about all sorts of things.
The difference is that THEY DO THEM IN CONTROLLED WAYS. They have highly trained, skilled people operating them. And, what they can and…
I feel like we drive on the same roads...
$1500+install for something you can do with pucks in your driveway? No way!
Also, please tell me you have adjusted your headlights to compensate?!?
No one is claiming they are incentivized to low-ball the pay. But whether or not the people reporting their pay are paid less than those who aren’t IS relevant. Since the ratio of lower-paid reporters to higher-paid reports is unknown, the data must be accepted with a grain of salt! This could work in either way, mind…
I’m not saying the information available isn’t accurate for the people who’ve posted, I’m saying that the people who’ve posted are only a small subset. The people using Glassdoor (et. al.) are likely NOT happy with their current job/pay, and they are likely to be lower-paid persons... The people who are happy with the…
No ones griping about the individual’s pay. Let those who can get it go and get it! But what about all the middle men? Are you comfortable paying $10 more for something so that the worker can get $2 more and the union can get $8? Or would you rather pay the worker $5 more and save the other $5 for something else?
THEY aren’t the ones pushing this, though. It’s the bosses. If it weren’t for the union, many of the employees would be better paid (especially those who worked hard, were skilled, and were reliable). Some wouldn’t, but that would be because their work did not merit the compensation...
Also, everyone buying GM’s…
No, I’m actually saying the opposite.
It does not suck for me. I am quite happy with my employment. I worked hard to get where I’m at and it’s paying off. I see no reason why that would change in the future...
GM no longer has a “pension;” they switched to a 401K-type savings plan a while back. I strayed a bit from just GM in my comment.
