As if we didn’t need more reasons to hate Adam Carolla, he used to do a riff (maybe still does) about how Brad Pitt was dumb and just seems intelligent because he’s handsome and reads other people’s lines well. Clearly, that’s not the case. Pitt is an intelligent, thoughtful guy, as are a plenty of other handsome

If you change your game description to no longer use the term “Choose your own adventure,” turn to page 37.

If you ignore Chooseco’s cease and desist letter, turn to page 72.

Yup, also agreed.

I would question whether context and intent come into play with this suit. If they’re not using “Choose Your Own Adventure” explicitly in the title of the game, but rather simply using it in an explanation of a game mechanic — i.e. “as the player, you have the capability to choose your own adventure within the game

The point of the scene never was “the kid with the broom specifically is the future”, it was “there IS a future.”

I would say it’s a valid complaint. Star Wars is, at it’s heart, a fantasy fairy tale wearing a science fiction costume. The heroes needed their happily-ever-after. That’s effectively how RotJ ended: the villains are dead, the deceased are at peace, balance is restored, and now our heroes can chase a life of normalcy.

I get angry every time I see the house in the GMC commercial with the couple in their late 20s/ early 30s living in a million dollar modern mansion and he buys them matching GMCs because her matching watches for the hell of it. Who is this supposed to appeal to?

The real change is... ON THE INSIDE.

What I don’t get is how this woman claims getting the bike “changed her.” There is no visible way in which she has changed over the year. She was already thin and toned. I guess she just gets up earlier now?

It’s utterly ridiculous that it took a crap interview to have Andrew stripped of his royal duties. It should’ve happened after he thought hanging out with a convicted sex offender was nbd.

It’s time to forgive Charles for his love for a woman his mother wouldn’t let him marry. We all loved Diana, but that relationship they were both forced into was destined to be a failure from the start. The real villain is not Charles, it’s the people who decided that they could impose an arranged royal marriage and

I wouldn’t go blaming streaming and Netflix for the failure of independent theaters and the struggles even the chains are having. Those problems have been on going for longer than streaming has been a thing. Fuck it was a major topic back when I was in college and Netflix had just launched as the DVD by mail service.

I’m having a really hard time giving a single damn about movie theaters. The world is a very different place than it was in the 1940s (duh). With the option of viewing at home with an experience that rivals that of a theater without the insane prices prices, why would anyone even bother?

I prefer the line “A man can never cross the same river twice. It isn’t the same river, and he isn’t the same man.” We have to accept that we aren’t the same people we were when we played those games the first time; we’ve seen too much, played too much, lost too much of our innocence. Sometimes the reason you can’t go

Fuck everyone involved in this story. Fucking morons.

So, I wonder if the hot tub is still there? :)

I hope this isn’t the last chapter of a sad story. I grew up on Sierra games-- Quest for Glory was my gateway into roleplaying games, and still one of my most beloved experiences. I genuinely hope they are selling the house for happy reasons because it would break my heart to find out this was some dark ending.

Eh, OTOH, people are already using it incorrectly and/or running it into the ground, as morons are wont to do, so I’d expect it to be dead sometime next week.

... what the hell is wrong with these people?
