The question is whether anyone will buy them under the Chevrolet brand. It hasn’t worked out in Europe or South Korea.

Neutral: the Torana GTR-C concept

Said difference doesn’t really exist the way prescriptivists claim.

It’s just a problem of the French word order. Think General Attorneys instead.

But not in 2016, when the engine came out.

… or Escala, or Elmiraj. GM always have an endless parade of “look what would be possible if we could be bothered” concept cars.

The 3.0TT being almost purpose-designed for the Opel Insignia OPC/Buick Regal GS …

But it’s not a natural law that the GM/Caddy LS has to be 6.2 L of displacement. There’s the 5.3 L, and GM Performance have a 5.0 L gen V crate engine. Why not give one of those a twin turbo? And perhaps even remember that we’ve also already had a three valve, twin cam-in-block setup (Global XV8).

It’s just one more case of GM senselessly burning money (which they’ve always loved to do on Cadillac) while at the same time pinching every penny until it squeaks.

It’s a statistical fallacy, too ;o)

That’s a logical fallacy.

… in 1931 (that’s three years before the Citroën Traction Avant). But honestly, the Trabant was a reasonable small car when it was introduced in the 1950s.

2.5 vs 6+ seconds certainly does make a difference, though.

An old woman in the village where I grew up, a friend of my grandparents, used to cook on an old iron stove like that, until her death in the 2000s, although at least she had coal briquets instead of wood (we’d sometimes carry them up the stairs if she let us). That stove in the kitchen was also the only heat source

What fucking year is it.

Did you personally decide against upgrading to a new car? What stopped you from buying?

This sounds impressive at first, but I’d love to know the actual resolution of the original analog film for comparison.

But that would make sense – and would put an army of consultants and PR types out of work.
