Acktually :3 Its also not fall damage in that case. When you fall you are likely hitting an invisible kill box or a boundary in the map/engine which instantly ends the player.

Fisherman’s Horizon in FF8 and all of the schools like Galbadia were awesome.
I recommend anyone who buys this save themselves some time and just skip the Specialist HQ altogether.
The real answer is: “It depends.”
“Survivor” also adds a bit of empowerment as opposed to just saying “Victim” which in our language and culture is always associated with weakness and vulnerability. This is important especially when discussing a serious issue and when we need to elevate the voices of the victim over the abusers.
