I thought it happened at multiple locations too. Might make more sense than everyone simultaneously failing to cook the chicken properly. Interesting. Maybe different reasons for different failures :(
Goose, did you get the farmer’s spade!? Goose? GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOSSSEEEEEE?!?!?!
What’s up with the #,950s? Am I just overthinking it here? Or is it Illuminati? :P
Yeah I’ve seen LOTS of scalping already! Tickle me Elmo is back this year too apparently. Hopefully it isn’t an apocalypse during black friday and last minute shopping.
Definitely sounds like an amazing gift idea, within budgets too. I wonder how many will be given away vs. bought for oneself :D
Interesting points. I was always obsessed with Super Metroid but I can see how people who want a much larger collection might be cost-prohibited due to the price and rarity of the remaining cartridges.
Holy crap that’s cool. I had no idea these things even existed.
haha, this is pretty much what I was thinking but I might also be in the camp of “and I bought one anyway...”
I guess there is something at work to make it look good on a big screen. I don’t care much for the big screen myself but I can see that being a big blocker for most, especially those trying to share the nostalgia with kids or loved ones. That seems to be the big kicker.
Haven’t played any of them in a while. My nostalgia cravings lately have been in the PS2 era right now. Will definitely try SNES 9x next time!
I could’ve sworn they fixed the whole 3/6 thing after they re released 2-5 stateside?
Oh my god, there is like a CR2025 battery or something inside the cartridge right? :O I forgot about that!
Thanks for the reply :D All valid points. I can see why there is a strong market for this. Those of us happy to be clinging to our old consoles, cartridges and emulators are probably a passionate minority.
Any benefits to buying this if you have a dusty SNES in your closet and ZSNES on your PC?
It seems like a lot of problems we deal with today are because the legislation that was written decades ago made sense then but it doesn’t now. I feel like more laws should be written with ‘expiration dates’ or ‘re-evaluation dates’ to justify them continuing on.
The Gel landing concept in Spirits Within was so cool, I don’t think I’ve seen that anywhere else yet.
I hope SOE, Blizzard-Acti, and the entire nation of South Korea sues them for copying their grindy MMO formula :D

This is what those guided E3 Demos should look like :P
