Um, I clearly stated that there is a middle ground. If you go too far one way towards art you might not reach a broader market. If all you do is focus on trying to make something ‘appealing’ you lose quality and innovation.

Its also a community that’s slowly being replaced over time. I doubt most of the Marathon or H1 folks are around in the same numbers anymore. Hell most of Bungie itself is a new company at this point.
