The real outrage here is that on  top of charging a delivery fee and asking you to tip the driver, third party apps will charge “service fees” (note that this is not a tip), they also take 20-30% of whatever the customer ordered from the restaurant.

I’ll say here what I said in another comment:

Not enough demand for that. A third party app basically shares a delivery driver with multiple restaurants. That’s what makes them appealing.
