I started re-reading the Dune series again from the beginning. I've read them all multiple times, but it has been a long time since I read through the whole series. I'm onto book five (Heretics of Dune), which is where I think the series starts getting divisive for some fans. I always loved Heretics, though - I

The writing in Anansi Boys felt very amateurish to me. And I really loved American Gods.

I think American Gods is his best, by far.

For sure.

He's the same age as me. I remind myself of that anytime I want to feel shitty about my accomplishments.

He complains about found footage films on the X-Files Files (talking about the X-Cops episode) and then admits that like half of the things he's been involved in are found footage but that his rules are "very particular."

He is insufferable on his The X-Files Files episode.

This band really seems like Panic! at the Disco, except worse, yet with much more credibility with critics somehow.

Ron Perlman?

You obviously haven't watched Luther if you think he does nothing but polished and in-control.

Nah

Does it explain where Hemsworth's character learned all his paramilitary skills?

There were plenty of things I didn't like about the plot in book seven (the ending is NOT one of them, though), but the emotional stakes made it work.

I haven't touched BOI:Rebirth in quite a while (I was a little overwhelmed with the new achievements added in Afterbirth).

I agree!

I disagree, I think The Gunslinger is nearly perfect. It's second only to Wizard and Glass in the series, for me.

Oy better be the cutest fucking thing I've ever seen or the adaptation is a failure.
