Am I the only one…

OK, but again, that's a different argument. Are you upset that they changed the books or that they included the rape? You seem to be using the rape as another thing to use in looking down on book to show changes.

You don't know that. Littlefinger's scene makes it clear that the wedding is going to come into play somehow, and unfortunately, if you have the wedding then with a character like Ramsy you're going to end up having a scene like this.

I think not ending the episode with the rape scene would've undercut it too much. Something that horrible needs to stand on its own.

While I am frustrated at the outrage, Myles has made it clear (though it was fairly clear in the review, I thought) that he is mostly concerned that the showrunners might not be able to give this rape the attention it deserves from a character perspective, even if they have the best of intentions (i.e. NOT using it

Isn't this a lose-lose situation? We don't know that it's not going to advance Sansa's storyline. And if the camera had stayed on the rape, or even just Sansa's face, the show would be getting even more "rape as titillation" accusations.

We don't know the wedding didn't have to happen. We also don't know how this is going to affect Sansa's arc.

Oh, please. If you're offended by this, then you should be offended by the book scene because it's much worse. And don't give me the "major/minor character" bullshit because if you're truly trying to take the high road then that should make no difference.

I'm kind of sick of this minor/major character argument I keep seeing. It's somehow better if it's just a minor character that's raped?

Rosaline or GTFO

The Virtual Boy

It's black and red and you stick your face in it

Same - I am generally a benevolent person in RPGs, prone to helping the weak and giving people second chances. But if you take advantage of me or double-cross me, god help you.

You are joking but I think this is honestly what their strategy is. The ads have a very 'Tim and Eric' feel to them.

0/10 needs more NYC references pls

The lemon tree is so pretty…

Armada doesn't seem to be different enough from X-Wing TMG to justify "switching" or having both - it sounds almost exactly the same from what I've read. Can you expound a bit?

I didn't realize Armada was also made by FFG - does anyone have a more comprehensive list of the differences between Armada and X-Wing TMG? Is the former replacing the latter? I guess I don't understand why you would go with one and not the other.

It's ideal to have a group of friends who are all into it so that the cost can be shared.

It makes people turn into frothing morons on both sides.

Yes, I told my wife the same thing when she said it seems like nothing is "happening" lately - this season is moving at a whirlwind pace compared to books four and five.
