That's a great song. Such a great, relaxing vibe.

I sing the chorus wrong every single time.

Co-Ed Call Girl doesn't exactly sound like a Lifetime movie, if you know what I mean.

The ending makes sense if you remember the on-the-nose Dickens reference from earlier in the season.

I agree. I was so tired of her by the last episode.

He curses a lot and drinks all the time! What a lovable scamp!

Thing is, unless you have a personal relationship with the victim, filing a police report (or going to HR if it's in the workplace) is the only way anything is realistically going to come of it.

I think your second paragraph would apply if this person had gone to the police, but as far as I can tell it went no further than that posting.

I like it better than Happy because it has actual lyrics, instead of just the same chorus repeated 1,500 times.

It bothers me that most of this discussion has already swung towards MRAs.

I'm sure there are assholes saying that for real right now, but it's fucked up that this woman took advantage of the progress we've made in wanting to believe rape victims just to get some attention.

I'm so fucking done with people getting upset over Kickstarters or saying that they're "not acceptable." This money is being given by choice and as a result of absolutely no coercion whatsoever. I don't even see how it can be a discussion of what someone should or shouldn't do.

This is how CGI should be used in this day and age. Very impressive.

I'm a big fan of Cameron Stewart, which is kind of saying something because I don't really read comics at all. His original work Sin Titulo is pretty great. Highly recommended.

Well, it's a cinch that any story involving two super-duper smart teenagers battling each other in overly dramatic ways isn't exactly going to be considered high art.

Is Death Note generally considered above average for most anime shows?

Recommendation Thread?

I'm not sure that it really is too soon for a look back at the 90s. Don't get me wrong, I hate VH1 as much as anyone, but there were tons of retrospectives on the 80s about 10 years ago and no one ever said that was too soon.

"Well, there's no more books to adapt for the most popular TV show we've ever produced. What should we do? Do we just keep going, since we know roughly where the story is going?"

Not likely. Why else would he have filled them in on some of the details of the ending?
