I like that show just fine, but that episode was absurd. Switch the genders and most of it would've felt right at home playing at 11:30PM on Cinemax.

However unlikely it all may be from a "realism" perspective, I think that having Marty run into the girl from the trailer park whorehouse (to whom he was a hero) was a way for them to have it reflect Rust talking to the girl whose life he actually saved, and to see how those encounters go.
Why would that make them lose their minds? People love the show based on that movie, and the movie was pretty good as I remember.

You should definitely stick with it.
Those calculated risks can turn a run with crappy items into a completely over-powered run. Use your one bomb to find the secret room and it has Epic Fetus? That should be an automatic win.
