People think I’m crazy for running to podcasts! I don’t usually on race day (I find they mess with my pacing) but for long training runs they are a lifesaver. When my brain is focused on something else, my legs work better.

I started running in 2011 by signing up for a 10K which was terrifying. I made an optimistic goal to complete a marathon “sometime in the next ten years,” which I actually did this year. Running fucking rules!

In general, runway shows are exaggerated to show trend/vision direction. Most of the stuff shown is not meant to be worn - if you go into a Prada store, for example, you’ll see many of the same details but pared way down on more “practical” garments. Plus its just fun! I have to say, this is a DIRECT result of the lack of sex education for young people. Kids that don’t get taught about their bodies in school (and who don’t have parents willing to pick up the slack at home) grow up to be misinformed and ashamed and are worse off medically for it.
