There’s also no shame in buying a car instead of lifestyle vehicle.

I really want GM to stop turning on the backup lights when owners lock and unlock cars. It’s so God damn irritating in parking lots.
Yeah I know plenty of production operations that offer people four 10-hour days (or 9x4 with Friday afternoons off). But paying 40 hours for 32 hours work? That’s another 25% raise on top of the 40% hourly wage increase. Presumably this is a negotiating ploy because it’s never gonna happen.
Tesla’s stock price and valuation stopped making sense in a long time ago in terms of the size of the company and overall market share. There are so many promised breakthroughs and “later this year” items already priced into the current valuation that I think everyone has simply lost track of what has already been…
Your point would be valid if there was some weird international rule that said every country can only have X passport processing resources regardless of population.
“Reasonably believes” does a lot of heavy lifting here. George Zimmerman “reasonably believed” Travyon Martin was a deadly threat because he was wearing a hoodie and had “something” in his pocket. Pissbaby racists think every POC with a pulse is a deadly threat, and other pissbaby racists just go “makes sense, not…
Another example of guns keeping people safe. I submit that had there been no gun involved, both parties would still be alive today. Sure, you can kill somebody with a FORK, but it takes a considerable amount of effort to accomplish. Cowards demand access to push-button homicide, and thus here we sit...bleeding to…
All hail the minivan, the perfect vehicle.
A CUV is a shittier version of a wagon. Taller, worse mpgs, can hold less stuff, etc. I get that wagons aren’t in fashion anymore, but they’re measurably better at most things than a CUV is. Every soccer mom driving around in an empty Escalade/Suburban/X7/Yukon/Grand Wagoneer really just needs a wagon.
Uh, what? This smells like bullshit to me.
My Chevy Bolt uses about 29Kwh to drive 100 miles.
I pay .25 per Kw to charge at home. That’s $7.25 for 100 miles.
My gas car gets about 22 mpg combined, for 100 miles that’s 4.5 gallons @ $4/gal = $18 in regular gas for 100 miles.
I’d also rather have air clear enough to see that far regardless of what’s out there.
I’d rather see wind turbines than the offshore oil rigs that dot the horizon on the Gulf of Mexico.
And now, Trump has me agreeing with Sarah Palin. Things are SERIOUSLY fucked up when that happens, and he hasn’t even taken office yet.
Cafe standards ushered in the current amazing golden age of internal combustion we currently are experiencing. Companies actually invested some money in engine technology and it’s fucking amazing . Everybody wins . Get fucked .
Hmmm...
This post has so little resemblance to reality it’s astonishing. Your goal in posting on this story was to maintain a level of objectivity and honesty and fairness such that we couldn’t tell how you voted and you did not meet that goal.
Trump made up a story during the campaign that these jobs were leaving, and then…
Jesus Fuck, you’re dumb. So dumb, you won’t even be appropriately disappointed and ashamed in 2 years when Trump fails to honor one single “promise” all the while using the Oval Office to make back the billions he lost over the last 20 years. You will interpret it as the gigantic Trump Win. Propaganda is the new truth.
You’re very stupid.
Heaven for-fucking-bid that an automotive blog get out in front of a political story that is directly at the heart of the American automotive industry and which they can talk about with knowledge, depth, and most importantly, specific knowledge of models, plants, and a history of tracking where vehicles are slated to…
You’d prefer that elected officials just lie at will with no one pointing it out?
