just an addition to my comment (is there no way to edit these?) ; The design looks great on the new phones; but I'm getting tired of the front face design. they've changed every other aspect of the design but that.

I think it sounds pretty similar to my Android phone. Not that that's an inherently good or bad thing, but you always sort of expect apple, from the way they talk about themselves, to do something new and different , and this time they seemed to just be chasing the market rather than leading it, as far as technology

I don't know if I really consider LTE a bit improvement... (personally) . Att doesn't even have LTE towers in my area (Minneapolis area of Minnesota) and when I had Wimax on my sprint evo it was always really spotty. I see it as an improvement , but I've gotten so used to 3g and HSPA+ speeds on my One X that if LTE

This thing looks pretty sweet, but for the price, I'm still glad I went with the a77. If I could afford it though, this would be awesome.

yeah, the apple store is generally busier (which I kind of hate because it's just people doing the same thing as me, looking at stuff with no intent to buy any of it, just playing with gadgets) . It also smells like a farm in there for some reason , though I'm fairly sure it has nothing to do with the store itself.

it's the 6th iphone, but I have a feeling it'll still be called the iphone 5 , since 5 comes after 4, and nobody would confuse the 4s with the 5 since nobody calls the 4s the "fifth generation iphone"

Why don't you like Rdio? Because it doesn't include your personal music collection from your computer? (just curious, because that's the only difference other than interface design that I can think of) . My main thing is that I'd like to be able to share music with friends (and really there's only 3 or so people I'd

Even if this happens, I still wont be able to justify switching from Rdio. I WANT to, becuase all my friends use Spotify, but Rdio is just so much nicer as far as the user interface and music management. The one downside is that I have to use google play music to store/manage local music.

yeah, I looked into it a bit and figured that out. Still not a big fan of the interface (it feels too dark/cramped compared to Rdio's interface which is very much the opposite (see here-

There's one of these stores at the Mall of America. It's actually pretty nice. It's kind of like an apple store in that it's well designed (vs looking like a best buy with metal racking everywhere ), but they don't just sell software. There's also a lot of microsoft hardware (mice, webcams, keyboards, Xboxes, Xbox

well didn't they kind of go in a different direction by having a separate app drawer, wallpapers, and widgets? (considering the first iphone was basically just all your apps on homescreens, black background, no live information on the homescreen) As far as challenging patents, I'd think the reason for not doing that

Would you agree that touchscreen phones were the direction google NEEDED to go in order to stay competitive? That's the disconnect I'm seeing here. People see it as google stealing apple's "idea" (which had been around for a while in other forms, such as palm PDA's ) , where, as a product engineer, I see it as taking

Could be... I always thought of that more as a "favorites" list though... I guess it could be used both ways. Is that sortable though ? (I haven't used spotify recently so I don't remember exactly how that all worked)

I really wish they'd move away from the playlist thing they do... I'm using Rdio because it looks better visually, and you can store your music in a "collection" rather than having to save any music you want to remember in separate playlists. (as in; I can't ad an album or song to my music collection, I have to put it

hell no I wouldnt. They keep suing the manufacturers of the phones I buy , and I'm already a subscriber of Rdio (way better than Gizmodo-endorsed Spotify , by the way)

He meant that the phone itself is the same size as the iphone. (I don't know if that's true, but he wasn't talking about screen size, just ease of use as far as being able to fit it comfortably in your hand)

the thing is; and I don't even know why I'm getting into this at all considering I have a One X and don't have a case on it, but Jerry seinfeld is the type of guy who could easily afford to replace a broken iphone. Most people I know get pretty pissed if they accidentally break their phones (what are they 200? 300

nay. just looking at it is frustrating me. I'm left handed though....

So what confuses me the most is that apple doesn't seem to be doing a damn thing about all these "leaks" . Haven't they gone to pretty great lengths in the past to keep iphones under wraps until the announcement? This is taking all the fun out of it.

wouldnt mind seeing one of those sharp displays on android phones (unless it's an exclusive deal) but I'm having trouble understanding why they'd need to do a higher pixel density. As of right now, the screen on my One x is good enough where unless you're holding it within 10 inches of your face (which occasionally I
