As weird as the idea of this giant phone seems to me, I'm almost starting to wonder if maybe this is something I'd want and just don't know it yet... I love my EVO's big screen (but what if it were even BIGGER?!) and barely ever even use my phone to make calls (I'm talking around 100 minutes a month according to my

just a bit of good news for you. When I flashed an early AOSP build of ICS to my xoom, it felt like a new device. You're going to LOVE that thing.

so you've used a galaxy note?

or even android's not-quite-as-nice 15-minute refund period. its saved me a number of times

nice.

That's more related to customer service, not product development....

probably less functional than google+ , but i'm sure google plus is one of the reasons that people aren't jumping on THIS bandwagon. They saw what happened with G+ (a bunch of people signed up, then stopped using it) , so when path came along (which honestly i've only even heard of when it was mentioned 2-3 times on

its dumb. Very nice looking but that's about all... From my facebook friends list, ONE was already a member and I don't see any of the rest joining any time soon. we've had enough social networking

right, I just mean, lets say you're handed two xooms . one has ICS, and one has Honeycomb. You're going to want that ICS one. (best way I can describe it would be when I made the switch from vista to windows 7. I never really disliked vista, but when i switched, I understood why 7 was worth the upgrade)

well its only the "future of IM" becuase its the next IM software apple will be giving you and telling you you should use. You could have considered gchat the "future of IM" but why would you? its just another piece of software. I'd consider the "future of IM" to be something that people with PCs, android devices,

I was kind of of the same mindset as you until I heard this explained by someone else. When you look at the phones being released, in the majority of phones, the manufacturer's skinning covers up most if not all of the visual styling of the android version its running (Sense with gingerbread looks just like sense with

andersonwal is right. I was sort of in the same boat as you, didn't really NEED it but it would be nice, then I rooted my xoom and flashed an AOSP build . feels like a new tablet, and I'm not even exaggerating.

what does "in evaluation and planning" mean??? I can't tell if that's good or bad news...

all I'm saying is that while flash content still exists on the web, I'd rather have the option to view it rather than just wait for sites to update their content. i'm not pro-flash or anti-html5 . I just want to be able to view whichever is availalable

I think its probably just that not a lot of people do video chatting compared to all the other ways we communicate these days (faster methods that don't require both people involved to be sitting in front of their devices ) .

Oh for sure. I'm more just hoping that it'll still be available in some capacity (unfortunately , probably not on any android stock browser) in the future... but yeah, I don't see apple putting it on the next , or any, ipad...

if I remember correctly, back when i had my ipod touch (first generation) there was a custom theme for jailbroken ipods that made it look like this. (it might have even been the video ipod, ifeels like such a long time ago)

just don't get too excited yet. first there was the iphone. then the iphone 3g, then.... the 3gs.

cute, but everyone knows cats use windows phone

I would disagree with this. Why? Thought you'd never ask.
