sounds like a lot of work/development costs for something a lot of people will never use . I'm guessing that's probably also the reason why most front-facing cameras are terrible but rear cameras are usually decent

lol, I think I was the first person to buy a xoom from my local best buy (at around noon) , feels super lame, huh...

well... I'll download this, but for the record, I've never heard "search" marketed as android's killer feature. I dont even know what I'm going to use THIS app for, I barely use the built-in search tool

the way I see it (and I agree with you) is that this is an adult's review of a young person's device. He's reviewing all of the things that "grown-ups" would pay attention to (things like UI, similarities to a smartphone, etc.) rather than what a high schooler (i'd imagine this is still who these are being sold to)

while I'd agree for MYSELF that this wouldn't be somethign I should buy, I feel like this isn't being reviewed fairly... Most of us ADULTS would prefer a smartphone and brief moments of casual gaming, but back when we were in high school (for me, that's when the psp was "popular" ) those of us who liked gaming would

try Rdio. They already have an ipad app and a better looking UI

I had a similar job for a summer a couple years ago. We were installing GPS units in city vehicles . the people driving them usually didn't get back to the garage where they parked them until 2:30 or so. so we usually worked from 2-10. So nice not having to be tired all the time and still stay up as late as i

not to make things worse, but when you graduate, itll probably just get worse. I'm still coming to terms with that whole "you'll always hate the first couple hours of our day for the rest of your working life" thing..... (graduated in 2009) I was thinking the other day about those awesome days when I didn't have

looks pretty relaxing to me.

I nominate everyone. Whenever I disagree with an article or point of view, i get a lot of condescending replies... but if you guys would have read the article, you'd know that.

glad I'm not the only one... I only had a star once for a few months, then someone took it from me. Now I'm just a nobody.

correct me if I'm wrong, but aren't there already tablets (or at the least, small laptop screens) that do blu ray resolution? if its a retina display, its sort of obvious that its going to be better than 1080p, isn't it? (that was a serious question, I just assumed it would be, maybe I'm wrong)

am I crazy in thinking that it only makes sense for the ipad's display resolution (if a retina display) to "dwarf" the others, becuase the screen itself is bigger? I mean, you wouldn't expect it to be the same as a phone, would you?

up next: why the bagel shop opening down the street could crash and burn

while I'd generally agree with you, after updating my xoom to ICS , it felt like a new tablet. Having said that, I didn't hate honeycomb...

My point was that anyone who reads this site regularly already KNOWS the ipad is "better" (in the sense that its got better build quality, materials, screen, components, the fact that its not multiple separate devices etc. . UI is subjective) so adding that part just feels like more iPandering. ther'es not a whole

well who's reading this article?

So I guess I get the need to post an article about a new kindle ad, but why did this kind of turn into a "but the ipad is still better" piece at the end there? I think we all know what features each one has and doesn't have... :-/

works decent... I have two monitors though and it doesn't put everything on one (so stuff gets split between the two sometimes, but other than that it works good. animation seems smooth and responsive

in case people didn't know this, ChaCha questions are generally answered by college kids and stay-at-home parents looking up the answers on google or pulling them from a database of already-answered questions. I was a KGB "agent" for a while and this is how its done. As for Iris, the answers probably all come from the
