and of course this news comes only 3 days after I bought their wireless touchpad... now I dont know if I should keep it or not. :-/

totally agree with this. For me it just didn't feel good in my hand . This one looks like it MAY alleviate some of that due to being more hand-shaped with sides that look a bit more grippable. guess we'll see.

haha, there's nothing wrong with the Xoom! , its only a year old. As far as internals go, its pretty similar to the galaxy tab 10.1 . ICS made it feel like a new tablet. Fixed a lot of the little lag and hiccups that honeycomb had

generally (as in, when I did this via chrome-to-phone with the stock android browser) it'll work just fine. It just sends the link to your other device, and (assuming you don't have a phone or tablet set to work in desktop mode) it'll change to mobile if availalble. Kind of like how if you type gizmodo.com on a phone,

that's not really the main reason people want chrome on their devices

me too! (although it doesn't seem to be working very well on my xoom, so I'm a little disappointed)

just tried this out on my xoom (running an AOSP rom) and it seems nice. Didn't find the user agent settings yet (kind of important for viewing sites such as this one without a "view full site" button on them) . Also, things seemed kind of laggy overall (examples I noticed - typing , tab switching, page loading)

what version of android are you using? the stock browser in ICS is great (i have more experience with it on a tablet)

> Or maybe not. Who knows?

ok, so i somehow missed that part, but even still, that'd be pretty frustrating to be that close and still have to wait another year

I understand that, I guess I kind of meant more just in general, someone should give her an ipad. I've been around journalism enough (as a photographer) to understand that, its just kind of a sad ending to the story

good point. (i actually didn't watch the video , just read the article for now since i'm at work, but I noticed her face was blurred and assumed it was probably for a reason. Kind of forgot about that)

If you were born in a cage , and lived in it every day (maybe its got a food slot and a toilet) and never left, you wouldn't feel oppressed. (my point being that people who live like that don't see it as torture the way we in the western world would.) kind of sad, but that's kind of how things are. I'm not

why wouldn't CNN just give her a damn ipad? that would have made for a better ending to that story.

how much would THAT suck? Spend your whole drilling season trying to get to a lake that's miles below the ice, finally hitting it, letting some water rise up in the hole, then having to completely quit work and wait till next year. talk about suspense

I kind of agree with you... While its nice to be able to view it that way, I tend to find a lot of new music that I may have not found if it weren't for them listing EVERYTHING like that. being able to sort by genre etc. would be nice though , in addition to the full list

been waiting FOREVER for this!

I just bought one of these today and decided to check out this thread and noticed your question. I'm going to say no, it won't work as a drawing tablet. It only supports finger input (no stylus other than probably those capacitive touch styluses for tablets, but that's kind of beside the point) Its pretty much just a

nothing better than cooked pepperoni when the edges get a little crispy

I don't ever remember DISliking dominoes, but i also hadn't eaten their pizza in years, but yeah, really liked it. (and after checking online, apparently the nearest Jet's is like 20 minutes from my house. Not sure i'd ever heard of them before)
