Yes! It’s been a particulary awful news cycle this month (lifetime) and their relationship just seems so earnest that its kind of melting the cold cockles of my heart. 

I’m finding Pete and the cat-eared Donut Licker’s relationship to be pretty entertaining. Its been a while since we’ve enjoyed a whirl-wind Hollywood romance bound for self-immolation ala Drew Barrymore, Britney, Shannen Doherty, etc (I don’t count anything Kardashian related) ... He was like this cynical, wildcard of an uncle that would randomly show up to holidays to gently poke fun at your suburbanite *and* urbanite bubble with a much needed dose of world weary reality from someone who had lived hard and come out the other side.
