I’m definitely going to Iowa next year. I’ve never been, and with it falling off the schedule this year, I was afraid I’d never get the chance.

The only IMSA conflict that matters, is Texas conflicting with Sebring. They did that, so the race could be on NBC instead of Peacock, but it still surprised me. The other conflicts don’t matter, because they aren’t endurance races where IndyCar drivers often participate.
I love Pato, but I have a feeling his tendency to overdrive the tires, isn’t going to work well with the worn out surface at Laguna Seca. Although he did well in his IndyCar debut there in 2018, so maybe he’ll be fine. It’s going to be a hell of a fight for the title!
My ‘06 Sierra crew cab has performed brilliantly as a family vehicle. With a tonneau cover, it is the modern day replacement for an old school giant full size sedan. Take the tonneau cover off, and I can do all kinds of truck things too. Hauling bulk mulch and stone, throwing a pair of scooters in the bed, while also…
You do you!
Good call. I need to watch that again.
Honestly though, who among us hasn’t wanted to do exactly this in a traffic jam?
I keep my phone in my pocket.
It is now. You can see it in person, whenever you come get those POStal parts I pulled for you :)
Yeah, sometimes it makes sense to pay an expert. I just had the rusty rockers redone on my truck.
No title is no problem, thanks to the great state of Vermont. No VIN tag? Yeah, this seller can piss off.
Sounds like you definitely got a lemon. The 8.1 was the only non LS-based motor.
The daytime running lights on these are notoriously shit. Somehow both of my original bulbs lasted 14 years, but I’m pretty sure that’s because of some sort of black voodoo magic.
I dunno man, my G80 is still going strong. I live in the rust belt, and my frame is still solid. I do give it an underbody wash when it gets above freezing for a few days, so 2-3 times a winter. That seems to have helped a lot. The trailer hitch did rot out, so I had to replace that last year.
David’s flaws are many, and well documented too, but that is an unfair statement. David’s biggest flaw, is his lack of ability to triage what should and should not be messed with. As a result nice solid Jeeps like his still languishing Golden Eagle, or the J10 that sat for years, those things just sit. Meanwhile he…
That ZJ is unsavable, and you damn well know it. What they should do is take the trans and all the manual ZJ specific parts off, and sell them. There must be plenty of otherwise solid ZJs sitting in a desert somewhere, after their fourth transmission blew.
Nice!
I mean, luckily, you can own them both and you don’t have to chose. They’re both great!
The cat eye trucks are divisive. A lot of people love them, but a lot of people hate them. I like that front end on the Avalanches, but I think it looks terrible on the pickups.
That 6.0 liter engine is such a honey of a motor! If my 4.8 ever dies, a 6.0 will replace it.
