Can you give me any specific info/links for doing a conversion like that? I just got a pair of minibikes for my daughters, and I’m thinking of converting them to electric, to keep peace with the neighbors.

I just yesterday brought my 8-year old out to my buddy’s farm and we put her on his little Honda dirt bike. Actually, she tried his little E-ton ATV first, but ended up being way more comfortable on the dirt bike. I had to pull her off after hours of riding. I could tell the was getting tired.
Neato!
SCOOTERS! They’re cheap, small, easy to work on, and TONS of fun!
They’re pretty rare, but oh man do I want one.
This reminds me of a fender-bender I had in a grocery store parking lot when I was 16. The other driver was a kid with his learner’s permit. There was no damage to my car, and I split the repair costs on his car with his dad. We figured it was best for all of us to keep the cops and the insurance companies out of it.
I grew up in a very wealthy community, so I’ve seen a lot of dumb ones. Usually it’s not specifically the car that’s the problem, but a lack of respect for the responsibility of driving and of caring for the vehicle. In that area, it was considered “teaching responsibility” to give your kid a brand new cheap car,…
Its been such a great vehicle. The rocker panels have sadly evaporated since you’ve seen it. I’m actually taking it to the body shop tomorrow for an estimate on getting them redone. They quoted me a grand last year, but since then a cab corner has gone soft, as has the dogleg on the front right fender. I want to get…
I like the newer ones where the holes are triangular a little better, but I love these too. I have a second set painted charcoal grey for my winter tires.
Its a load handler. Well, it's a Harbor freight knockoff of a load handler. Definitely helps unloading stuff like rocks and mulch.
Lol! That takes me back to high school.
GMT-800 LYFE!
Nice! Well when you get to Sheboygan, we’ll be in range for some rides. I go up to Road America once or twice a year. Some buddies and I just got back from our annual scooter trip we call IdiotFest. We rode about 600 miles around the Driftless region in SW Wisconsin over four days.
Oh man, you scored on that deal! I’d love to get my hands on one of those, or a Piaggio BV500 (same engine as yours). I’m also interested in trying a BV350. They have almost as much power as the 500's, while being a little smaller and lighter.
For a cheap city scooter, that’s one thing. This BMW is very expensive, and sized for highway riding without having enough range to actually highway ride. That’s what doesn’t make sense about it.
I like it, it’s neat ... but at the same time I have a bunch of problems with it.
Gee, I wonder if inebriation was a factor ...
Wow! I can’t wait to watch this video. As someone who has ridden a 125cc scooter 500 miles in a weekend, I still can’t imagine almost 400 miles 2-up on a friggin mini bike.
A GM Dust Buster van, and a V10 TDI Touareg.
*sigh* Probably, yeah.
