Having seen it in person in the junkyard, I’m pretty sure it dissolved to dust before the yard got a chance to crush it.

It was a bummer that it ended under caution, but it was the right call. There was no way they’d be able to get a proper finish with only four or five to go when they called it, even if they took the time to fix the attenuator.

I watched qualifying at the bar at Sarah Fisher’s restaurant (sitting next to her husband Andy, actually). The whole place cheered and clapped when Marco took the pole.

Very impressive runs by those two rookies. It's shocking not to see a Penske car in the Fast 9, but word has been that Pagenaud has a very fast car in traffic. I think this is going to be a great race. I hate that I'll be watching it at home for the first time in 25 years, but thems the breaks.
