I don’t know why, but the name Verity Willis just popped into my head.

Black Lightning's been a hero way longer than Sara, but kind of falls into the same category and Batman & Superman.  

As much as I like the old Earth-2, it would be pretty lame if the only consequence of Crisis was that Oliver was dead and three Earths collapsed into one.  Collapsing the entire CWMultiverse into a single dimension, at least has proper “worlds will die” stakes.

The show’s been a little confused in this score, they’ve used Portland for establishing shots, while also claiming they’re in Missouri other times.  Something something Speedforce.

I am not going to lie, about halfway through this episode I got the news that the Red Sox traded Mookie for a guy who is probably an accessory to sexual assault and another guy described as “having trouble missing bats” and I couldn’t pay attention to what was going on in Legends because all I could see was pure rage.…

I very much like the idea of what comes next when a characters special destiny comes and goes, so the buildup then swerve of Barry dying in the Crisis works for me.

Legends also got a cool new intro. And Central City is historically I thiiiiink St Louis, never mind that big ass body of water that is totally not a river we see from time to time.

See, I don’t think the current Earth-2 is the same as the old Earth-2. Everything that was the CWVerse got collapsed onto Earth Prime, and the multiverse is now the stuff that isn’t a CW show (Stargirl is, of course, a DCUniverse show first and foremost).

That would be really hard considering Fury Road was a Warner Brothers’ movie. A very quick bit of research suggests that MGM owns the original Road Warrior movie, but all the subsequent films have been with WB.
