What it means is this -

I think the unmoored feeling is at least partially intentional.

I quite liked the Himalayan seer’s dad jokes.

Yeah, the evil Gideon from the 100th episode is her original core programming trying to reassert itself. Bishop’s Gideon is a copy of Gideon reset to that original programming, without any of the added humanity.

Close. Gary started with two nipples, the unicorn bit off one, then Neron returned it (along with some evil nipple magic), then Mona bit it off again, then Gary used his Fairy Godmother wishes to get it back once more (minus the evil) and decided to wish for a third nipple, in case he ever needed a spare.

His Ray was on The Flash this week, missing his buddy... apparently they have drinking sessions but Nate hasn’t responded in a while.

Yaz was fun playing Vinder’s superior and the doctor’s other sidekick in the flashback. But I prefer if she had more to  do as herself. The scene playing video games with her sister was fun anyway, always nice to see their dynamic, on the surface antagonistic but trying to be supportive underneath

Someone correct me if I’m wrong, but I’m pretty sure the role of the editor in chief at most major publications is to pound their fist on the desk and yell “Someone get me pictures of Spider-man!”

NO ONE wants Barry or Felicity at their weddings after the Earth X incident.

Oh for sure but a quick video chat scene with Clark would have brought Kara’s arc full circle to the days Superman only appeared from behind or via texts.

I might be wrong but I think they thought the show would probably end in the 7th season. It felt like they thought of some of the plots when they didn’t think this would be the final season. The finale was better than I thought it would be but this was one of the show’s weakest seasons.

Is that because her husband insists on saving money by flying her to the locations himself?

The last half hour of the finale is the best this show has ever been. And I find that extremely frustrating because THIS is what this show should’ve been focused on, and what this final season should’ve been focused on. Stories about family, smaller interpersonal stories. The problem with this show has always been it

That’s exactly what happened. The show started filming last October, but Benoist only returned in January.

Yeah I’m honestly surprised things worked out as well as they did this year. I think COVID in some ways worked out in their favour, as the filming delay coincided with Melissa Benoist’s maternity leave. She definitely appears in enough of the early season episodes that you’d never think she was on leave for any

to have a villain use a gun — not a nanobot wrist thingy, but an actual recognizable weapon — to plug an innocent for basically no reason, well, as the Youths might say, it hits different.

As messy a show as “Supergirl” became, I will still miss it. Glad to see a bunch of returning characters in the finale trailer; still hoping for Cat Grant to sweep into CatCo and shriek “What in the fuck have you done to my company?”

I also was impressed with Jesse Rath’s performance in this ep, and Nicole’s as well. Their only hope is for someone from the MCU to drop in and explain to them that BTTF is ———-. That should resolve that problem.

I don’t think I’ll ever understand people for whom watching a show seems to be a kind of masochism but who still turn up to dump on it anyway.

I had a similar thought re: reactions to Eclipso. I wondered what his reaction (and effects on his powers) might be if Courtney had said something like she pitied and/or felt bad for him, instead of the hatred.
