Kate is now friends with a shapeshifter, you think that might come in handy proving reasonable doubt in her father’s murder trial where their contention is somebody faked his identity,

It’s a dang ole shame they couldn’t have found a way to work River into the episode and given us an er reunion. Regardless, it is always fun to see Luka Kovac again and Višnjić was great as Tesla.

Kara writing that article was such a nice and subtle reveal. And Mary seeing Beth at Gotham U was a real clever way to introduce her since I know I thought it was Mouse creating a diversion.

On the other hand Thea did kill Sara so I doubt Sara is going to seek her out anytime soon.

They got Jonathan back that very same episode!

I suppose undead is only mostly dead.

Based on how I interpreted the preview for the next Supergirl episode, it looks like they’re changing up the “Temptation of Lena Luthor” angle slightly and Lex is going to be, for as long as Cryer hangs around, the devil on her shoulder.

You know it’s a Legends party when Beebo shows up.

It’s possible, but I doubt it based on Laurel’s hair and costume in the released stills from the Canaries pilot. And personally I really want more interaction between Evil Laurel and Sara anyway, that’s a really underserved dynamic.

That scene in the quarry would only have been improved if they had turned into Beebo.

I feel like “You have failed this city” is probably the signature line of Arrow so it was just understood in the writer’s room that was what Ollie was going to say when saving the Universe.

We also don’t get nearly enough scenes with Laurel and Sara together, so I enjoyed the fact that the memory Sara was hanging out in had Laurel in it. Even if it was pretty ghoulish for Sara to be trapped in a memory where she’s dead.

The episode lost a point for not having Ollie say he had become something else when he met the Paragons at the Vanish Point. It gained a point for that wonderfully daffy meeting of the Flashes (and how wild would it be if an Ezra Miller fronted movie never happens and this is the last time we see him in the role?).

So, uh, why exactly didn’t The Doctor feel the need to pretentiously monologue instead of rescuing Kane and Benni at the end of the episode? It’s not like she has a time machine capable of popping to the split second they teleported out or anything.

It’s a sad indictment of Marvel that I’m continually amazed anytime a book makes it past twelve issues without a numbering reset. Runaways totally deserves it though and I hope they continue to give Rowell and company as much room to play as they want.

The camp plus vague nod to modern concern that dooms humanity (and a companion’s family) was some extreme RTD energy.

The Master coming back despite being unequivocally dead is decidedly his gimmick, and I don’t want to know how he regenerated since frankly who cares, but I was hoping for a little acknowledgement of Missy’s face turn.

Graham is a Wilf-tier companion. The man never goes anywhere without a pickle and cheese sandwich on his person and you have to respect that.

yeah once I finished the episode  I looked him up on Google because I couldn’t for the life of me remember what I knew him from (Iron Fist, go figure I scrubbed that out of my brain) and it is just one big spoiler right now.

the lead up to the big reveal was a little uneven, especially the “big” chase scene, but oh man that reveal was so good. I had a suspicion “O” wasn’t what he said he was, but I just thought the light bulb aliens had already swapped him out or something. So it took me a moment to clock what he was saying, but when I
