/comfort on Phantasy Star II. I absolutely adore its ending, but I totally see your points about its combat, tedium, and abrupt cliffhanger conclusion. As a kid I was used to the grind heavy nature of it all, and my mother made huge graph paper maps of all the dungeons for the family to use, so that informed and

Saluta~AHHHHHHHH OMG OMG OMG OMG!!! RE2 Remake is finally here! The wait is over!!! AHHHHHHHHHHH~~~!! What’s everyone doing here!?! It’s out! It’s out! Or hey, you can lovingly research KH lore since KH3 will be out very soon too, /cheer! Or play more stellar Smash Ultimate! The true 2019 deluge of gaming excellence

Hahahaha, I kid you not. Once I saw the headline for this, I immediately zoomed in just to post a Frinkiac of this very quote. /salute

Have a wonderful time with P3P! Let me know if you decide to go the Akihiko Route. I believe he’s the Chie/Makoto of P3P, so to speak. And how about those splendid additions to the P3 soundtrack (“Way of Life” / “Sun” / “Soul Phrase” / “Wiping All Out”)?

“HONK! This is Goose. I’m inside the disposal facility garden.”

Sorry about that. Honestly I’m hoping they keep it as Untitled Goose Game because I’d really love to see headlines in the vein of: “Untitled Goose Game wins GOTY 2019.” I’d be so happy for its devs.

Grats on making it to Dezoris!

Even with all my renewed enthusiasm for RE2 Remake, Untitled Goose Game is still my most anticipated title this year. I just can’t help but laugh my ass off at every clip of it I see. The stakes have never been lower but that’s what makes it so endearingly hilarious.

Have a blast with the Endless Night Collection. I’m waiting for them to go on sale since I didn’t click 100% with the gameplay in the demos released. Definitely heard about the Project Re Fantasy track, but have not listened to it as of yet. Very cool that Studio Zero’s already dropping hints and Easter Eggs about it

Darn it, either way I always get eaten by giant ants! I hate these books!

You’re not alone. There are dozens of us! Dozens!

That’s a pretty darn stellar list of titles for 2019, woooo!

If you can get it on sale, it’s definitely a unique title, to be sure. Given the remaster’s right around the corner though and will most certainly have more streamlined, better balanced gameplay, I’d recommend waiting for THAT to get released and go on sale.

Yeah, agreed, in terms of top tier speculative fiction, “OMG 4chan denizens could potentially run amok and ruin us all” isn’t entirely gripping beyond the pulp factor. But as fundamentally strong human drama within speculative fiction trappings, I found it really enjoyable. Agreed on the highs most certainly being

Here’s hoping it’s the GOOD kind of crazypants.

I believe Skybound Entertainment swooped in to help with Telltale’s total collapse so they should still have their titles up on the various console and gaming store fronts. I definitely see The Enemy Within currently on the PSN and Steam.

One more thing—RE: 428 Shibuya Scramble, I know the PSN has a demo for it. I recommend trying that out first to see if the tone and old school visual novel approach for that narrative fits for you. I don’t think it has Tama in it, unfortunately, but there’s still a lot of quirky charm to how the early parts of its tale

Glad you enjoyed the ending of The Blackwell Epiphany so much. I love the organic parallel it derives between Joey’s final action with ashes in its conclusion to Rosa’s actions from the very beginning of this story. And because of the long journey we’ve had with Rosa and Lauren and company, our decisions lend fullest
