This is a weird take on the statement, which also threatened default for her from this tournament and future Grand Slams for not fulfilling the requirement of contract to play in the tournament, which was not mentioned at all in this blog post.

I mean maybe I don’t understand trolling but this is legit harassment. The fact that’s nothing happened and she just reached out and did this is not something I could imagine doing ever. This woman was an adult.  That’s different level from trolling to me.  

I don’t think anything preempted it. Courtney Stodden was huge in media gossip at the time and Chrissy Teigen was a self-admitted troll. A lot of people thought her mean humor and bullying was funny. It’s crazy to me thAt she took it to the level of DMing Courtney, but I don’t think there is really a deeper story here.
