I loved Atonement but that sex scene was a weak point of the film. It’s just not sexy, all I can think is how uncomfortable she must be.

In Ireland they’re not named at all. There was a very high profile murder in 2018 of a 14 year old girl, committed by two 13 year old boys. Their names were never published and this week a woman was hauled up in front of a judge and plead guilty to sharing a photo of one of the boys online

IOC said delaying until next year is not an option (I presume the world cup has something to do with that decision). It’s either this or cancel.

I hope this focuses more on Kathleen than the doc did. The doc was all about the husband and glossed over her, the victim. There was a lot of info on their finances that was left out of the doc, imo a huge omission.

I liked the stage with all the singers/violinists in the cityscape. The rest was just meh. His voice was just underwhelming. Gimme Whitney Houston belting out the national anthem in a tracksuit any day.

I live in the UK. The private PCR tests are much more expensive. A few colleagues got them so they could fly home for Christmas and the all paid at least £120 each.

I felt the impact of the slow build up as The Vow progressed. However, even by the end of The Vow I wasn’t as horrified as I have been watching Seduced or reading testimonies and articles over the last few days. The Vow barely scratches the surface when it comes to the horrors of not just Raniere but the others at

As an Irish woman who has only ever seen guns in a museum, outside the US embassy in London or in Vancouver airport, that is a very depressing post.

My housemate has a subscription for tailor-made supplements. He wouldn’t need them if ate anything green. He lives off microwave soups and omelette. Bit farcical to me.

She was originally hired as director but then left the project. Marielle Heller took over as director and Melissa McCarthy and Richard E Grant replaced Julianne Moore and Chris O’Dowd.

I completely agree. I had high hopes but was really disappointed. Film was beautifully shot etc. But I just wasn’t invested in their relationship at all. At the beginning she seemed to be in her mid teens and he looked like he was in his late 30s (imagine my shock when I found out the two actors are only 5 years apart

I never intend on getting pregnant but if I ever do they can pry my tea from my cold dead hands!! I go through about 6 or 7 cups every day in work (I’m Irish living in the UK so this is normal). If a spouse tried to get me to quit I’d serve them with divorce papers.

In 24 of 26 counties so far.

I have long (few inches below my shoulders) really thick straight hair. I rarely tie it up. It’s fine for the first few hours but after a long day I end up with a headache and sometimes a pain my neck. I don’t even tie it that high. I do have to tie it tight though or it just falls down.

And Muse on Italian tv. Matt (lead vocals & guitar) “played” drums, Dom (drummer) lip-synced to Matt’s vocals and “played” bass, Chris (bass) “played” guitar.

Nope. Emigrating Irish can only vote in any election if they have left in the last 18 months and are intending to return within the same 18 months. In reality, many emigrants are still on the electoral register because nobody has manually removed them, but it is classed as voter fraud if we vote after having been away

So proud to be Irish today. It’s been a long time coming but that was one hell of a resounding yes. The gay marriage result of 62% for yes in 2015 was a stunning victory; I still can’t believe yes to repealing the 8th came in higher at 66.4%. Everybody back home was blown away at the size of the yes vote when the

I went to a very liberal college in Dublin so most of my peers were ardent Yes supporters, but I have many family members living in the only constituency that voted against gay marriage in 2015 so I was very worried.

Didn’t the two from PWC do loads of media interviews last year just before the awards discussing all the ways they made sure their system was foolproof, including memorising all the names so they’d know immediately if something went wrong? Then it turned out all those interviews were just attempts at getting their

And it was just announced in the news a few days ago that a record low of six men entered the only catholic seminary in ROI. Last year there was a scandal after a few of the trainee priests at the seminary were found to be using Tinder & Grindr.
