I remember TJ Miller making a dig on him having to have the most funny lines per episode... that was at the time TJ’s shit was all coming out so I didn’t think much of it at the time buuuuut...this is not a good look.
The time to be clear about what one wants/needs in a relationship is early on. There is definitely an element of coercion for people who have been married (or dating exclusively) for some time when one of them decides to say “Hey btw, the whole monogamy thing isn’t really my deal.”

Her book details a lifetime of trauma and abuse. Regardless of age, a person can be vulnerable to manipulation, especially given the right set of circumstances. And Ashton’s persona is certainly that of a dolt, but his success in business and entertainment suggests he’s rather more savvy than that.
