Right? He does not believe he’s done anything wrong. He is absolutely positive about it, so there would be no “stress” indicating lying/wrongdoing.

Jesus Bono. Proof that even a gigantic promoter of equality and campaigner for human rights can turn onto a curmudgeonly reactionary old fuck. Give Morrissey a call and you guys can commiserate.
Hoping it’s a milder expression of autonomic disorder. It’s profoundly shitty when you can’t depend on your body to keep things ticking along normally. I hope she finds out what’s causing it and can at least reduce symptoms somewhat.
Also, the NYT article covered an entire “movement” of people taking the “Men Going Their Own Way” route—forgoing children, staying away from marriage and limiting their involvement with women. Maybe that’s just a club for dudes who can’t get a woman to pay attention to them. It’s easy to see why.
Back to the original issue at hand- If I had been interviewed about such an enormous bill from the utility company, I would have made a deadpan joke like this. After the initial “WHAT THE F*CK!!” adrenaline rush my default goes to making jokes. I am giving her the benefit of the doubt. People seem to be trashing her…
We had a place that had baseboard heaters. Each one had been installed directly under a single glazed window so all the heat just got sucked right out. It was cheaper to heat the place by turning the oven on and leaving it open.
Maybe she still uses incandescent ones like we do. Our December/January electricity bill is usually gargantuan (for us) and we can place the blame solely on our stubborn refusal to use LEDs because they are fucking cold and uncozy compared to the rich warm tones of little filaments glowing through coloured glass.
And I would love to be a fly on the wall for it.
I am dying to know what Prince Phillip said when he found out his favorite grandson was marrying a woman whose mum is black. I am also wondering how he behaved when she was introduced to him in person. Prince Phillip is not known for diplomacy and has said some incredibly racist things. However, I bet Markle was the…
Wikipedia is doing good work here. Hope it stays for a good long while.
A British puppet show that parodied a variety of people and skewered politics and newsworthy things.
Yep. She is a person absolutely obsessed with the Royal hierarchy and very protective of her place in it. This was a deliberate signal to Meghan Markle to Know Her Place. Princess Michael of Kent has impeccable pedigree (according to herself) and can list by heart all the connections she has to a variety of European…
I am sure she would insist you also add her marriage was annulled by the Pope and therefore NOT a divorce. tsk
Via marriage. But as she was not born a “royal”(she’s landed gentry), she has no rights to the title of princess plus her own name-it’s only through her husband’s. And I think she resents that a young mixed race woman of REALLY common origin will become a royal- it bugs the hell out of her. She’s notoriously difficult…
Well, dude clearly has the Windsor ears, so he’s obviously related somehow too. 2nd cousin? Great uncle, twice removed?
Don’t forget that Americans use the term “fanny” to indicate someone’s posterior. So, there’s a bit of a pattern here.
My country (Canada) heeded the threat and abstained. I am fucking livid. Way to stand up to fascists, Canada. Trade over all, eh? Assholes, the lot of them.
Next up “Private Benjamin!!”
Hijinks ensued= Best defense ever.
I hate to admit it, but sometimes my mother can be right. Not often, but it does happen.
