I'm so happy that the dog was found and re-homed at least. That is heart breaking.

So I guess birthday girl hasn't come across the concept of cost per use?

@Ruby_de_la_Booby: The most obnoxious gendered product I've seem recently was "women's" althete's foot cream. No difference, but it was in a pink box. Such. Bullshit.

@Ruby_de_la_Booby: And if you're me, have an allergic reaction. Scented products are the devil for those of us with sensitive skin.

@SarsDoesn'tSave: God being exhausted and sweaty and covered in pink glitter would suck so badly.

@morninggloria: I've seen more races this year offering women and men's shirts, but there were still a lot of men's size shirts this year. I think races are getting more considerate about including women's sizes though. It's no fun to get an awesome technical shirt, only to pass it up to my fiance when it's way to big

@DarlingGirl: Speak for yourself. I can totally hug sodium- in the form of a bag of chips. :P

@shellybean: And actually, come to think of it, when I cook it's often "complicated food" but my fiance, man that he is, makes comfort food when he cooks- turkey burgers, veggies with mac and cheese, bbq chicken and okra, sloppy joes... way more nurturing I think. (Although I do occasionally make meat loaf.)

The nurturing food in my household mostly came from my dad. My mom can make a mean holiday dinner, but her day to day offerings consisted of overcooked chicken breasts, canned veggies, and rice-er-roni. Cooking just didn't interest her and her mother was also a half-hearted everyday cook.

I deal with it by complaining!

This would be more believable as the plot for a dystopian novel.

@Elizabth_Bennet: She looks like a blond hybrid of kate bekinsale and kiera knightly to me- which is fine... but if that's what you want, why hire scarlet?

@Vidya108: I don't agree with you that you can prevent cancer caused by a virus by ingesting an amino acid.

I saw your tweets and have been waiting for you to write about it. I hope you'll post links if you end up finding more evidence of this in the press!

I have an anxiety disorder and have had two bouts of anorexia. I'm pretty comfortable giving that information out for a number of reasons. 1) In my experience, if I can talk about something, it's not controlling me, 2) I believe that there should not be a stigma associated with mental illness and the only way to make
