@voteforme: you know I didn't think about that- but I think that high heel shoes would carry an equal risk in terms of sprained ankles and the like. Also the article said that a male coworker had performed the same task the day before while wearing flip flops and jeans and that's why she brought flip flops to work to

@toe-to-toe: I think the issue is that the dress and turtleneck were form fitting on her- but I really thing that's just her figure. She was clearly wearing the right size for her and the outfits were straight out of a what to wear to work guide.

@ShadyLane: I see your point but the things that make me think she has a reasonable claim are the fact that she was told to straighten her hair, wear makeup, and wear high heels to move boxes. It makes her supervisor sound kind of sadistic and creepy to me. If my hair is purple, my boss can talk to me about it.

@Dangeresque: Yeah I want to give her the benefit of the doubt b/c my boobs can show that much through clothes and a padded bra when I get cold. It's embarrassing but short of wearing a coat, there is no hiding it. I think they shouldn't have zoomed in on her boobs!

@MischiefMinx: So you don't think that the picture where she was wearing a blazer and a knee length skirt was appropriate work attire?

@femme-bot: I thought the same thing. Also the whole "you can't wear flip flops while moving boxes thing" sounds really sadistic.

@sportz.star: I did cringe when I saw that. I have nips of steel as well, so I understand that sometimes they show. But did the camera have to zoom in on her boobs?

@Miss_Dreamer: What about Flannery O'Connor? I swear my family came straight out of the pages of one of her stories! (Years of therapy, I tell you...)

I need that red dress NOW. :)

Bonus points for the male double name, Dodai!

@AmberNicole: My progressive insurance is really cheap, actually. :)

@Catladypants: It really was. I loved it and had it not been the last semester of my senior year I would have found a way to take more classes with that professor. He was such a good teacher!

Flo reminds me of a younger Delores Herbig from Dead Like Me. Of course dead like me combined Delores's unironic cheerfullness with an incredibly bizarre personal life, which I found to be a brilliant touch. Can't you hear Flo advising someone that "The homeless are desperate, passionate lovers, but they will rob you

My weirdest undergrad classes were through my honors college. Which is not to say that I didn't love them and actually learn things.

@cuckoo chanel: That's my hope for when I have kids. I want to have the same relationship with a daughter that I have with my mom.

@cuckoo chanel: I talk to my mom every day because I enjoy it. Yay, moms!

@Buggie: In high school and college, I had a) overalls that were my mom's when she went to college and b) short overalls- it was like a combination of overalls and a jumpsuit.
