@Buggie: I think they mean overalls.

@maccapee: That's a good point. I (a woman) also often hate things specifically b/c they are trendy.

@coffee_and_lipstick: Good point. Some days I just really want to look frumpy. I'm not sure why, but it just feels good to wear oversized clothes or a really old sweat shirt, or whatever. I guess I want to be free of the male gaze.

@Callipegian: Track suits! Way to look like my creepy gym teacher.

So what do you wear that in your experience men dislike? Every guy I've dated has hated it when I wear capri pants. I'm like "whatever, it's hot in my office and I can't wear real shorts to work." They usually understand the reasoning but will remark that they are their least favorite form of leg covering. I think

@typicrobots: My fiance is a total clothes horse, so maybe. He is a huge fan of his madras pants, so maybe he just loves patchwork in general. :) And he definitely loves bold colors. He jokes that I would clothe myself and decorate my house all in neutrals (true) and that he would only use bold colors if left to his

@Imparfait: Haha I got a headband from Etsy in the mail today! And then my boss walked in and asked why there were flowers on my head. Um, because they serve the dual purpose of holding my hair back and being awesome?

@Lemon: When I first saw that picture I was like "oh what a cute skirt oh my sweet god in heavan no!" hahaha

@whiskeyshoes: My fiance is like that with patchwork patterned ballet flats. I think they're cute and would wear them, but he just loves them and always wants to get me a pair (so far he's been unable to find the pair he saw and liked and then when he recently saw other ones he liked, they were slippers, not shoes.) I

So to be servicey, I will share what I wore the time I went out on an oil platform (for work). I was literally one of two girls on the entire platform (The other wore a bow in her hair and referred to herself as "offshore Barbi." She rocked!) and feeling rather self conscious. So aside from the oh so fashionable hard

Regarding leggings- my fiance is always bugging me to wear them! I'll wear them to workout or around the house, but I can't bring myself to wear them in public as pants.

My go to plan for dealing with swimsuits is to rock fun accessories with them. So it's not an occasion to worry about my swim suit- it's a reason to wear my cute sunglasses!

@jannanaphone: I used to wash every other day and wet it in between days, but now I scrub my scalp with conditioner on most days and that's sufficient to keep the oiliness at bay for me. It's much easier on my bottle blonde hair too!

This thread makes me feel so much better about my general hygiene/fashion corner cutting. Thanks, Jezzies!

@elizalegs: Well now at least I'll feel more justified in my dislike of melons! I'm a huge fan of raw fruits too, although I generally prefer my veggies roasted.

@angryyoungwoman: Those of us with oily skin (and a low tolerance for prickly leg hair) do.

I'm starting to transition to showering at night- because I can't go without showering and I'd like more time in the morning. I definitely wash my hair with shampoo only about once a week though.

@elizalegs: Are you shitting me? I am O+.

@pales: Oh god, the little canned shrimps, right? Those were the worst!
