@shellybean: Oh and my family has a jello cake recipe that is our go-to birthday cake. I think it involves yellow cake mix and a pack of lemon gelatin. It is very moist and delicious. :)

Sadie, The Wine Cake sounds amazing- deliciously quaint! :)

I think she's easy to dislike because she often says annoying things and my perception is that she gets away with it because she's so pretty. I would still dislike her if she was an average looking woman saying annoying things, but I have an extra boost of dislike because, to me, it seems like she gets to say those

Hey! She's wearing my slutty rainbow bright halloween costume!

@shellybean: Oops! There should be a period after "waist" instead of a question mark! Please excuse my terrible punctuation.

She does, on the other hand, come with a head that is wider than her waist? Did Ralph Lauren design this doll? :P

@largirl: Those are lovely. I certainly appreciate the contrast between the dress and the setting and some of the trash the dress photos are very striking. But I think the rolling in the water/setting it on fire, getting it visibly destroyed thing is now just "trendy." I think the examples you posted above are lovely

I gave my wedding dress to my best friend because she was trying to save money while planning her (awesome) wedding. Actually my mom did the same thing with her wedding dress- so I consider passing along wedding dresses to be a family tradition. The difference is that my mom stayed married (and her friend returned

@cnphair: I'm actually wearing Jcrew pants 2 sizes too big today (They are hand me downs and I am lazy) and they don't look like that anyway. I just look like I'm two sizes larger and wearing lowrise pants. There is some serious pinning going on somewhere in that picture. :)

@lafleur: So glad I'm not the only one!

It kind of bothers me that I like and want to wear everything in the men's Jcrew catalogue about a million times more than in the women's. (Not that I don't want that gorgeous coat with the ribbon detailing- OMG *drool*) I just really feel like all the fussy little details are what dates women's clothing prematurely

@Tchotchke: What about the autonomy of the child. When I was little I had lots of swimsuits that I chose and some of them were bikini's. I remember liking them b/c they looked like my mom's swimsuits. Since in my mind pretty was whatever my mom wore, I wanted to wear something similar to be pretty too. I don't really

@colormeroutine: Yes. And frankly, no matter how much someone might dislike or disapprove of a teenager (or anyone) dressing provocatively- they have a right to do that without being raped for it.

I do feel a little weirded out sometimes by the naked ladies in the gym. I don't think their bodies are gross, but I just don't understand the urge to hang out naked when other people are around. Chilling in the sauna is one thing or being in the process of dressing is another, but some people just sit around nude and

@awinoforever: It's probably best to err on the side of caution and just hate yourself no matter what. :P

@SweetIo: I agree. I think there is a difference (although perhaps it is fine line) between wanting to discourage obesity b/c it is a risk factor for disease and making obese children feel bad about themselves because "fat people are bad."

@awinoforever: Ugh, I despise the waist to hip ratio- it is no friend to those of us with small hips and normal tummies. My BMI is lovely (as is my level of fitness), but the waist to hip ratio likes to tell me that I'm on the verge of death.
